Upsc should update the csat syllabus in the notification from 10 th level to cat level questions.
2018 cutoff was around 98 and it got drastically reduced to 92 and then 87 to 88 ( 2021 , 2022 ) because of increasing difficulty level of csat. This year is unique. It cannot be compared to any other previous year. This year both the papers are of highly difficult in nature. So I think 78 is the ideal one

Absolutely correct.. in 2020 also cutoff was predicted near 95-100 but it went down.. this year same will happen and it will go down below 80.

CSAT was tough. Ok no issue. I can adapt to that thing but how would one justify the fact that questions from number system were disproportionately high and other topics were just been ignored.

Insight key has 6-7 question definitely wrong. So score can vary up to 15-20 marks.
I got 91.5 in GS-1 and 76 in CSAT. But I wrote only IFOS but not civils. Any chance to clear?

Maths part was shocking
Quant was tough too
But if someone has attempted English first this year they should crack csat.
For this year , UPSC must decide for 25% marks qualification for CSAT rather than 33% as this year csat was tough for non maths students.... But I knw they won't change 33% regulation as this helps them in eliminating students in large number.

I'm clearing GS 1 as score is between 82-85 but in CSAT I've checked 2 answer keys, due to variation in RC scoring 64.25 in one n 67.55 in another 😶😶 literally standing at the border

You have to attempt writing answers. Read the question and the topic in the morning. Then try to write answers in the evening

There will be 13,000 aspirants who are clearing csat and scoring 85+ in paper 1 ,,,, if you consider the chance factor 85 is doable , so it will never go below 85 in any case and in any year i think ,,, im getting min .102 in paper 1 but not confident about csat as it heavily depends on English comprehension...feeling too bad 😑

Hi sir any chances of decreasing csat qualifying marks please reply sir as most of are failing who is getting high marks in gs1 and upsc has to pick 15k to mains will it be able to if csat qualifying is 66 as usual
There is no chance and 0% probability of decrease in qualifying marks of csat. So don't wait with the hope that csat qualifying cutoff will also reduce is totally wrong.
Yes, 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs will still qualify csat.
15k is a very small number, More than a lakh aspirants will anyway qualify Csat.
May be...in 2019 upsc has reduced qualifying marks for cds gk section from 20 to 10 percent due to tough gk questions.....writ has already been filed in Supreme court
@@YB-zn7rhread cds notification nowhere 20% criteria is mentioned it's just that for many year upsc kept it 20% and suddenly in 2019 it changed and in 2020 again it was 20% but point is in cds notification explicitly it is mentioned that UPSC will decide cutoff in each section based on its own discretion no mentioning of 20% while in cse it's already been mentioned one has to score 33%
Hence don't believe on newspaper cutting going rounds on telegram. I myself have given and cleared cds, it might be above 20% too in any year as it's purely in upsc hands
And upsc legally can't change or reduce csat cutoff unfortunately.

Try to follow the instructions of questions in RC and in my case i relied on my IQ for reasoning and quant
