78- 84 General cut off because CSAT bhi kafi tough tha . Edit : *today I checked my gs 1 paper from different answer keys and I'm getting 78-86 marks in GS 1 , but I failed in CSAT* .
Cut off is not always decided by GS paper….CSAT makes a big role in deciding cutoff!! And also paper dekh k cutoff bataana and paper actually attempt kar k bataane m bahut farak h . So don’t ruin the mood of aspirants by guessing without facts. CSAT was way difficult then last year and GS option too were tweaked which made it difficult too…. A guy attempting 80 would have attempted 65-70…..and that too with less surety than earlier years…plus the CSAT. So this decreases the marks automatically by 10-15 marks as compared to the standard elimination days. So General cut-off can be around 75-80…. Baaki aap samajhdaar hai !! 75 + is safe. 85 plus kisi ka baap b ni kar sakta. 53 question only one, only two, pattern pai thay. Previous year question paper moderate tha, or asy 10 questions ki waja sai 12 points cutoff down gayia.
Marks are very much fluctuating from candidate to candidate but CSAT is making the things average. I have seen the drastical change in cutoff when paper is drastically changed. And this paper was a drastic change in paper including CSAT. Most probably who are getting around 75 would clear the exam.
