- Cats eyes are like gemstones.
I believe that all cat owners feel this way.
When I started out I was desperate to find somewhere where I could buy glass eyes matching exactly what had in mind.
But I couldn’t find them anywhere.
I had to make them myself.
I had no idea how to create these glass eyes from scratch.
So I learnt the art of glass making;
colour theory, some classical painting techniques and about prosthetics.
The glass eyes I make are a delicate combination of all these techniques
It’s funny how even though when I create exactly the same coloured eyes as the actual cat, it doesn’t necessarily embody the spirit of the cat.
To discover the intricate ways of this craft Is my art of making glass eyes.

Im here from the Netflix series Cat People, and I cried when I watched this episode ❤️
I am a dog person, but love all animals. I watched Dogs on Netflix last week, and when I saw that Cat People was now on, I watched it all. Your episode was just beautiful. Not only did we get to see your talent as a photographer, artist....and gift of needle felting...but we also saw a glimpse of your story and journey as as well. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to do what you love to do, on a daily basis, bringing joy to those that receive your gift. To watch your reaction to the presentation made me cry. That's why you do what you do...because of joy you want to share. I'll be watching your episode again...I'm so happy I found your Channel and Instagram too...subscribed to both.

The Netflix documentary special, “Cat People“ dropped today, and when I got to Sachi’s segment, “CopyCat,“ I broke down crying over my beloved little friend of 21 years who died last December. I miss him so much.
The way she brings loving memories to life is more than art - it is life 😻🔥😻
Is Cat People a series or just 1 movie? The trailer wasn’t clear about it. 🤔. I would watch it just to see Wakuneco.
To live for 21 years, he must have been very loved and well cared for.

@@mistergrieves cats do live long lives if fed properly ( little to NO dry food...) . And of course, loved dearly. I have three in their late teens , one is 19 ,and another is 21 1/2 . Can t imagine how hard it will be one day..
But, love never dies. It just waits patiently , in another room.
