this is beautiful. i love how you colored the tips of the fur with black color. i have heard you can do that with copic (alcohol) markers. have you ever tried it that way?

Copic can be used for dyeing. I usually forgot about Copic because I don't use colors much, but your comment reminded me and I checked the test piece I made 5 years ago.
Color remains.
Copic is easier to use, and it may be better because it doesn't become a hair bundle.

It seems that the transparent adhesive used in the video is not used much in the world.
Try a vinyl acetate based glue.

320番くらいの紙やすりで表面を荒らす→定着をよくするためにプライマーを塗装→カラーを塗装
