Yes, NAMED creature can be renamed WHEN THE ONE NAMED IT DIED. Since the clown that named Gabiru already died, the effect of naming stays but then Gabiru can have a new name by a new master. Thats why naming is not totally advised when the loyalty of the creature is not absolute to the namer cause they can kill you anytime .
