Getting one of these guys to do a custom figure as it's the best base right now for custom Mandos. Going with black armor with dark green /pine accents and bone trophy pieces like a reptile skull shoulder piece, two goat horns on the bucket, and a black cape. The Devil of Mandalore
I've got this one on my 'to do' list. Listing the paint colours and codes is really useful, thank you. I'm colourblind and really struggle to guess what the colours are supposed to be. Buff and Brown now on my shopping list👍
Hey so quick question the vest he comes with the one that is free sitting with his beskar chest plate how would I go about removing that without cutting it with scissors it’s out of place and I need to put it back on right
Not bad. I'm fine with the figure as is, but there's a few bits of paint you did here I might add just for the contrast. The brown you added to the bands on the boots and gun holster looks especially nice.
Nice! I use general art brushes I never by expensive as im lazy and never look after them lol, but just a pack of brushes from an art department etc will do
I wouldn't recommend it. Most paint pens aren't paint but a sharpie so the pigment can come off. Gundam Markers are an exception because most are meant for panel lining and details that can't be touched and rubbed off by handling. Additionally, you can't custom match pigments in a paint pen as they are sealed, Much better to use actual paint and fine brushes.
Again, This Looks FANTASTIC! Sadly Another Great Sculpted & Articulated Figure, Let Down by Hasbro's Cheaping Out on Paint, Weathering, and Detail, that Used to be The Starndard that Set the Black Series Apart, up until a couple of Years ago. They Just Stopped Caring. Now they've Upped the Prices to Nearly $25 for a Standard Black Series figure and Near $30 & $40 for a lot of the "Exclusives" and "Deluxe" Figures because they say "They have More Paint Apps"... of Course they do, because They've Stopped doing Any Weathering, Drybrushing, and Quit painting Details like Buckles, and Rivets, or things like the Darts on this figures Knees, or the Toes of the "DELUXE" ROTJ Boba Fett. So Anything Added is More than what They Stopped Doing. The Level of Detail now would be Fine for a $10 Kids Toy, but Not a $25 - $40 Figure aimed and Marketed as an Adult Collectible.
100% agreed It just seems everything now is formed in the color plastic and thats it! and its a shame you can see the paint apps over the years falling behind, and the figures getting more and more basic, paints and weapons etc, all them little details stand out!

That sounds awesome!
did you end up doing it??
Looks realistic!
I think a frosted copper random Mando would be lovely 😍
Like the armourer?
@@CenturionsCorner more of a frosted finish....
If I can find a second one of these I want to custom paint it a OD green with black and darker green with the same brown you used for the leather.
I really need to look into making my own mando for sure, alittle mando channel mascot!
Thanks!
Thanks Dawn very much appreciated this isnt the only fans site though! hehe

I would get a craft knife and cut down the middle of the back, when it's all back on with the jet pack you won't see the cut

Cheers bud, just some small details is all that's needed to bring the sculpt to what it needs to look like
That ending result was insane. Nice custom!
Thanks bud appreciated
Looks Amazing!!❤ i just started making customs myself and am pretty new to it. What kind of brushes did you use for the Fine work?

@@CenturionsCorner okay cool, ive ordered a couple Deathwatch Mando's.
Hope i can make it just as cool as yours😁
Looks great! Question: Do you ever use paint pens?
