So pleased little Poppy is well again. I know what a worry dogs can be with my two. Got to say this place looks lovely. Serene with gorgeous countryside, a pretty village pub and a river. What more could anyone ask. It's a place I definitely want to visit. I smiled when the lady asked if the campsite knew you had a car and I loved your reply.
💕 I absolutely love that site 😊 thank you so much for sharing it with us.. it’s definitely going on our list of must visit sites 🤗 So glad that poppy is feeling much better 🥰
Thank you both, a brilliant video as always, it brought back happy memories for both of us, 😊😊 we enjoyed boating for many years on the Ouse going through the lock at Houghton Mill and years ago I used to cycle through Houghton Mill each day from St Ives to work in Hemingford Abbots. Poppy must have been a worry for you both, especially on such a long tour round, you must walk and drive many miles, glad Poppy is feeling better. Take care. Warm wishes to you both 👍👍🇮🇲🇮🇲 xx
Lovely site, worth the the struggle to get in. Sorry to hear about Poppies problems, it always fantastic to see the way they bounce back. One of my two often gets the trots when we are away, I’ve got it down to the changes in water. I live in a very soft water area a there can be significant changes wherever you go. I think it’s because they can’t tell us how they are feeling that makes us so worried for them.
My heart absolutely goes out to your. Ours was a little bit more serious his pancreas was packing up ended up in the vets in Dartmoor they was absolutely brilliant did everything physically could for him. Back home now after five days there. So glad to hear poppy is okay love your blogs look forward to watching them specially looking forward to next one. Anyway take care of yourselves and all the very best and once again glad to see poppy is okay
Hello both, I’ve just subscribed to your Chanel, really enjoying your posts. Went looking for Motorhome vlogs as we have just bought our first one after selling our boat this year. So far we have had a good couple of weekends in it which we enjoyed thoroughly, can’t believe how busy it is everywhere though. We have had a caravan before so not total newbies but have found your information most informative. Thanks for sharing I’ll be watching out for new posts 😊 glad Poppy is better.
Thanks for subscribing, glad you've found it useful. An enormous number of people have recently started motorhoming and Caravanning. It will be interesting to see how many stick with it when this is over.
Looks a lovely area, walking by water is such a pleasure, chuffed to hear Poppy is better, hope you holiday plans are back on track. Take care and thank you.
Great video. I had thought about this site many times over the years, even back to when it was a managed site with the Motorhome and Caravan Club but was sort of put off by its location but having seen your informative video and the lovely site and surrounding area I’ll definitely make it a trip for the future.
Thanks for sharing Bob lovely site think I will book that for a long weekend next year only 30 minutes away. Just an update Skye was also ill for a day and a half from the Tuesday when I go to Wells, she didn’t eat for 36 hours.
Bob Earnshaw could be Skye was mainly being sick just throwing up. Couldn’t even hold water down without being sick again got me worried I started thinking about local vets. 36 hours later she was all good.
Not sure if it was happening when you were there but there have been some night time exercises taking place from the nearby air bases, so you may just have been unlucky with when you stayed there.
Thank you Bob and Jenny for another very enjoyable video. It's great to see the outside world as all our plans for caravanning this year have been scuppered because of the lockdown and family circumstances. We have a very large 'garden gnome' sat in our garden doing nothing. My wife has suggested that we spend a couple of nights in it and 'pretend that we have been away. Hopefully, next year will be better and we can continue our adventures. The Norfolk/Suffolk area is on our 'to-do list'. Stay safe and keep well- Eric
Firstly, very pleased to hear that Poppy is now ok. As you rightly said they are always a big worry when they turn ill. Another great video Bob/Jenny and lovely walks too, plus the food!...Take care and stay safe...
Hi there you three...sorry to hear that little poppy has been under the weather..bless her..hope she is feeling better soon...we all worry about our pets dont we...take care ❤❤xx
Hi both ..lovely video lots of memories, I used to fish and camp there when I was a lot younger ..I lived in Brampton just up the road so lots of memories and you're right lots of lovely pubs ...did you manage to look round st Ives
I've been watching your channel for a week or so and really enjoying it, the pitch your on Houghton Mill is the same pitch I was on in 2014 when it was run by the caravan club, it's a lovely site. Thanks for sharing your travels. I have a RUclips channel but it's mainly motorcycle content even though I have and use my Motorhome to attend motorcycle rallies and events up and down the country. Take care Ernie
Aww love her, so glad to hear Poppy is ok, it's worrying when they're ill. Love the campsite your on very pretty walks, unfortunately hubby says the turning in will be too tight for the 8ft Bailey 🙁
Hi bob and jenny, just thought I would give it another mention for poppy, Lintbells Yudigest prebiotics for dogs my westie has it when he gets tummy troubles and it works fast, hope this helps.
Hello both, looking at getting a new sat nav, saw your review of the Avtec. Did you have it on, re Mrs Nag trying to send you down love lane, I’d like one that registers the dimensions of our Moho.. great video!
Can't be helped, the address is still given as Love Lane. It was a road once that went to St Ives. It's not as if you could go down there now anyway. The sat nav has the dimensions of the motorhome but not Love Lane. Also proves you still have to use common sence with any sat nav!
Glad to hear Poppy is getting better, she looked really flat, not herself at all. As its a NT site you are on, do you have to be a NT member to use the site? Thanks cuddles to Poppy
I think you chose the wrong time as the RAF and USAF have been on NATO exercises for the last couple of weeks in the North Sea, Germany, Denmark and Poland.
Poppy is very well now, thanks for your concerns.
Glad to hear that, thank you
What a lovely area. Great video you two and nice to see Poppy leading the way again there at the end, back to normal, Enjoy your time ;))
Great job guys, as always. Hugs and kisses to Pops!!
Hi both, so pleased Poppy is much better now, such a worry x A lovely site, and location. The pub looked good too and so did your lunch x

Thank you
Glad Poppy is on the mend. Liked your diplomatic answer about the car when you where being directed to your pitch!! Great video as always. Al.

Yes that's the hardest part they can't say what's wrong.

Something they picked up in the Forest, two days after Poppy.
Bob Earnshaw could be Skye was mainly being sick just throwing up. Couldn’t even hold water down without being sick again got me worried I started thinking about local vets. 36 hours later she was all good.
Looks like you’ve had a lovely day. We are pleased to hear that poppy is better now 👍
Yes, thank you
Glad poppy is alright . It’s a lovely cafe at the mill .
Not sure if it was happening when you were there but there have been some night time exercises taking place from the nearby air bases, so you may just have been unlucky with when you stayed there.

Thanks for watching, let's hope you get away soon.
Our dogs are family, they do worry you, so pleased Poppy is well now. In my neck if the woods when you get to Stamford!
Poppy is a star
Cracking video and editing Bob. Really showed the area well despite your obvious concerns for poppy. Glad she seems to be recovering well. 👌😎
Thanks 👍
when i lived in huntingdon this was my fishing area when i growing up in my younger years
Great walking views hope Poppy is on top form now 🐕👍🏻
She certainly is!
Firstly, very pleased to hear that Poppy is now ok. As you rightly said they are always a big worry when they turn ill. Another great video Bob/Jenny and lovely walks too, plus the food!...Take care and stay safe...
Really glad Poppy is well. I can sleep now!

“I didn’t do it, the table did” that’s Jenny’s story and she’s sticking to it 😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Bob and Jenny. 😊👍
Hi
Glad to hear about Poppy
I've been watching your channel for a week or so and really enjoying it, the pitch your on Houghton Mill is the same pitch I was on in 2014 when it was run by the caravan club, it's a lovely site.

Thanks for watching, I'll have a look at your channel, always had an interest in motorbikes, but never allowed one!
Nice place.
We've been to Thetford and never heard a sound!
Aww love her, so glad to hear Poppy is ok, it's worrying when they're ill.
Love the campsite your on very pretty walks, unfortunately hubby says the turning in will be too tight for the 8ft Bailey 🙁
No you'll be fine there, don't forget I was towing a car too.
Hi bob and jenny, just thought I would give it another mention for poppy, Lintbells Yudigest prebiotics for dogs my westie has it when he gets tummy troubles and it works fast, hope this helps.
Thanks for that, I'll keep an eye out that that.
I hope Poppy gets well soon 👍
You'll be glad to know she is very well, thanks.
So pleased Poppy has improved and you can continue with your holiday. Why are all pubs called Three horshoes. What happened to the 4th one!
Yes, a good question! 😅 👍👍

Looks a great site Bob, do they have a grey water point?
Yes, next to the fresh water and they have a motorhome service point. Both were opposite our pitch.
Looks amazing Bob & Jenny 👍 a shame about the noise.
Yes Thetford was too noisy!
Really good video. (Shame poppy was ill)
Thetford Forest is a great site
Glad to hear Poppy is getting better, she looked really flat, not herself at all. As its a NT site you are on, do you have to be a NT member to use the site? Thanks cuddles to Poppy
Thanks, she was tired I think. She's fully back to her normal sandwich stealing self now. No, you don't have to be a member to go to the site.
Hope Poppy gets well soon.
She is very well, thanks.
Yes, someone else commented that there were NATO exercises on.
Has poppy been in any lakes? Nasty algae around at this time of year.
No, she's not keen on water so we stay out of lakes.
Hi bob. Is the laundry open ? If not give me a shout. We are local and can help. X
Thanks for the offer, but it was open.
Hope poppy is okay
We use kaholin
I think it’s called or pro kolin
😊👍
Hi
I make bread got flour from mills in yorkshire etc sent to wales husband calls me dusty miller .........
Hi Bob & Jenny,
Will you be joining the CAMC online AGM on Zoom?
Probably not.
I think you chose the wrong time as the RAF and USAF have been on NATO exercises for the last couple of weeks in the North Sea, Germany, Denmark and Poland.
Thanks, there was definitely something on!
thetford is a army training area
We had NATO. exercises when we stayed at Thetford campsite.
