On your log locks, leave the t-handled lock loose, they're generally not needed. The log locks are designed to pivot on the round bar they're mounted on, that's how you adjust their height. You'll also find that removing the locks from their square holders, you can lean the lock head forward or back, depending on which side of the round bar the square holder is when you insert the lock. Also, you find that pivoting the lock to the right you'll be able to make your final cut lower with less risk of clipping the lock handle with the blade. Just a few tips from a fellow HM130 owner. Have fun.

Hi Bud, thanks for the vid......... the clutch on your mill is pinging at idle which will knacker it, turn your idle down until the ringing stops. Best wishes.

I believe you can angle the clamps so they're almost horizontal as opposed to perpendicular to the ground. At least according to some other HM130 videos.

Great video. I just picked up an HM 126 and am thinking about making ship lap as well. Also, it sounded like the idle was a tad high causing your slip clutch to engage slightly at idle. Fun times.

I have this mill on a trailer, log stops best angled, square boards can be made into shiplap.

Have you ever thought of setting your sawmill on a couple of 6X6pressure treated timbers? Edgar
