  • Swimming with whale sharks in Sumbawa (S1E48)
This week we're adventuring into the islands of Sumbawa and the Komodo islands. Over the quiet and green roads of Sumbawa we eventually get to Saleh Bay, where one of my biggest dreams is becoming reality; swimming with whale sharks! The friendly giants give me an unforgetable life experience, truly astonishing! We also discover the islands of Komodo, where we see Komodo dragons (lizards), Manta rays and tons of other exciting landscapes and sealife. Enjoy the ride!

Amazing all those interesting animals that you have seen so far on tour trip. Now it’s time to spot the kangaroos, koala’s and crocodiles..

What was the company that you used to swim with whale sharks. I’m going to Indonesia over the next year and that would be incredible to do

Are there any ferries from Labuan Bajo to Sape? I'm heading to Komodo soon and want to go to Sumbawa as well. Confused how to go there though, a flight from Komodo->Bali->Sumbawa would be better or a ferry fron Labuan Bajo->Sape. I'm just not sure if they have ferries everyday or not.

There is ferry van Sape to Labuan Bajo, It's about 8 hours. It doesn't go every day, so make sure to get some info from the locals before getting there so you're not stuck in one of the harbour towns waiting for a ferry. But yes, it's definetely the better option instead of flying back to Bali
