The problem is there again. The last few patches didn't do much to fix the tournament scene. It was just another bug fixes. The Nerfs didn't bring down the s tiers to play Tekken.
The buffs didn't do much to bring the bottom tiers viable against the S tiers. Overall the Tekken meta remains the same at the strongest players level. Maybe it did change the meta for online but offline tournaments are going to be terrorized by the S tiers for the foreseeable future.

We are expecting another patch in June though
So slowly but surely we will get to that point where the Meta will heavily shift

@@GamerNemy partly disagree. This patch stated that low tiers will get buffed to make them more viable for competitive Vs s tiers. But post buffs Numan Ch Steve just got murdered by Low High Dragunov post Nerfs in a FT5. They might just kill Drag Jun and others but then again characters like Reina Lilly Law Lars who are under radar of S tiers will take their place. And as usual Feng has been getting away since Tekken 7 along with king Lilly and Victor.
I don't see Tekken 8 Steve Asuka or Zafina being viable for competitive with this current attitude of Devs where they fix some bugs calling them buffs but they definitely won't give them back their true strengths like Ch launchers,guaranteed oki, combo damage,evasive movement or neutral. Truth be told even if they got their stuff back their heat is kinda useless compared to top tiers heat like Feng getting unlimited Ch launchers or drag 80% launching heat or King's unbreakable 10F tracking mix up throws or Jun's health restoring heat. Steve's heat smash had to be used by Numan just to exert the same level of pressure king does in the neutral in Baaz.
