*1930's Cosmopolitan Recipe* 45ml Gin 20ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) 10ml Cointreau or triple sec 10ml Sugar syrup (1 part sugar : 1 part water) 2-3 Fresh raspberriesInstructions 1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker 2. Fill shaker with cubed ice 3. Seal shaker and shake firmly for 20 seconds 4. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass 5. Garnish with an orange peel
Really enjoy the Green any Gin and need to get more of their stuff. Green Ants are really aggressive ants and when I was in the army in the NT we got attacked by them dropping out of the trees and biting you with their mandibles, they then squirt acid from their abdomen into the wound. Remembering you can make a tea with them and you can eat them I ate a few of them and they have the best citric lemony, lime flavour I've ever had! Cheers Tim!

I know it's been a year and you probably won't see this, but I just came across this in my local bottle-o today and stood there for a while thinking about the time I too, ate green ants while I was in Darwin in the Army. The ants actually taste pretty good and I can see it working really well in gin, so I'll be buying a bottle soon.
I love green ant gin. Not the cheapest but my partner buys it for me for Christmas, so who is to complain. He came home recently with a bottle of the bush apple gin, which I also love.
