AISYAH is the living proof of that. In the middle of shallow, trendy and hip crowd of students, who seem to be competing with themselves to be even shallower, trendier and hipper, the modestly dressed and head-scarfed Aisyah stands out like a sore thumb. Aisyah wants to lead her teenage life according to the morale taught by her family and religion.
Being the outsider, Aisyah often finds herself at odds with her fellow students. Luckily, she has the support of her four brothers at home and her hijab-wearing girl squad: ‘The Jilbabers Lovers’, at school. Banded together, the girls become the bullying target of a quartet of mean girls: BIANCA, DARA, RASTI and ELISSA. How can Aisyah and her friends survive the teenage years?
