At lot of elements from the 3rd book in the trailer actually, that professor looking guy and the Asian lady were both character from the 3rd book😅
You should finished book 3 before the show spoiled it for you.

@@jayachandraprasad According to the recent interview, they meshed all three book together, so it won't be like the Chinese version which is one book per season, have you checkout the Chinese version yet? It's a very faithful adaptation, around 90% similar to the book.

They're shooting it by time period. From a production and cast hiring perspective, it makes perfect sense. You want to lock down every single major cast member on season 1. Also, less chance of audience getting confused from constant going back and forth between time periods if they do all the mid 2000s event in season 1. Lastly, it saves on location shooting and set design cost. I assume book 3 will have a lot of in studio shooting because it's going to be a lot of space and space... and more space so it'll be CGI and a volume studio shooting like the Star Wars Mandalorian etc.@@tsukasa1608
