I was a seasonal employee there for five months. 80 Hour work weeks. Never called off. Never late. Was by all accounts an amazing employee. They let me go on the last day. Now 2 years later I work for sorrento/lactalis. General Mills complete loss. Sorrento’s gain. And I really wanted to be a permanent employee of general mills and help feed America.
Thank you for your interest in a career at General Mills. The best way to search for opportunities is on our General Mills Careers page I have added a link to the video description. Additional information is also listed on the site around the many different functions to find where you would fit best within the organization.
I would not want to work for a company that opposes the gay marriage ban in Minnesota. Headline news per Star Tribune Fri. 6/15/12 "General Mills against gay marriage ban"...
My wife and I, and our 8 children have been customers of GM for many years, and with a family our size go through lots of their products, and accumulate lots of box tops. We will no longer be supporting them in any fashion. I refuse to give any money to a company that is no longer focused on its product, but chooses to use its money to promote something that is immoral. Just like I won't give money to a company that supports abortion. It will be more difficult to shop, but heaven is worth it.
Bestest, that is a great view on things. I am currently a college student seriously interested in working at General Mills. Is there any way I could ask you a few questions? (Six years later) Thanks!

Why are all these people under thirty?
Kat Moon Productions Because since 2012 they've had several significant reorganizations which eliminated senior employees.
