- The car is finally getting up to par with how I've wanted it to be. The first shake down didn't go perfect, but it's all good! Thanks for watching.

Greg, my man, you can't be a Miata driver without enough tools to rebuild the whole car sitting in the trunk!
with a 10mm and 14mm socket you can disassemble most of the car
@@elliotbyrns6165 even the rust :)
Your miata is so perfect
A round of applause for Craig Yeeters...👏
The “hey v-sauce michael here” really caught me off guard. That was spot on though. Actually kinda sound like him
Bruuh these tires were long overdue!
I'm impatient te see the results of the new tests!
And yeah, get us some RAW driving footage dude! Set up some microphones :)
Thank you Craigslist

That V-Sauce reference. Totally caught me off guard when the V-Sauce theme didn't start after.
Memories of a certain wheel bearing video by Mr 'You can torque by feel' Peters. Lucky bro.
Yeah, only thing holding the wheel/hub on was the brake rotor...
utubeaccess7 yeah and that’s only held by the calliper, one really hard corner and it could have bent the calliper bracket
Yes to discord and when you said almost to 100k I was like what how is he not already at 100k by far slmeonf the best automotive content on RUclips
This, my thoughts exactly.
Hell yeah brother you're watching the best Miata RUclips channel.
That Vsauce drop was awesome 🤘
Love to see you've got your usual energy back! So glad you've worked out the vibration!
Dang, Greg got the meaty bois, roadster looks sweet bud.
Super happy to see the Miata build is going forward again, Qureg!
Pumped for you and how your hard work is paying off! I lost a axle nut once on my MGB as well as the entire wheel and drum. I remember watching it rolling past the car on a twisty road on my birthday no less..
Damn dude, you didn't have to go as hard as you did at 5:40
what’s the song??
Good to see you grinning like a lunatic again. Worth all the work.
Almost 100k! Damn I was here since 24k, that's crazy. Congrats, you're awesome and deserve every subscriber
As always, great to see the Miata slaying the roads! Mines been plenty reliable and slaying plenty of back roads. I just picked up a Getrag differential and 260 transmission this past weekend for my built engine. If you ever make it back out to MATG I'd definitely let you drive it!
This Miata is AmazeBalz Greg!! Can’t wait for more driving footage
So glad I am so glad to hear you're pumped man.
Holy shit. It's a good thing you listened to your instincts and checked out the rear end. Could of been a lot worse had you kept driving.
A lot of blood sweat and tears have led up to this point and it's nice to see you fully enjoying the car. Of course, the project never really ends, but now it's in a good place.
Glad you caught that in time. Please be careful out there!
The music has been on point lately. The beat was almost as chunky as those 245s.
The miata looks sick, thanks for all the great content.
Damn Arby's, you got the meats! This is going to really help me out in my tire choices once I progress my car past its current full jackstand spec. I am really geeked to see how your car will hook up with a boost by gear setup!
Good job trusting yourself to pull over and check the car.
Wish you could have filmed your reaction! So happy for you!
So good I had to watch it twice. Looking forward to more rolling shots.
From a Craig to a Greg(?) this made my day. This even made my old man Huskamute happy as I was kinda restless just now. Thx, kregory. ❤️❤️❤️
tires and wheel setup looking straight 🔥excited to see the fine tuning coming up!
So glad you doing more videos.
So stoked for you bro! I love your vids keep it up!
Heck yea! Love the driving content my man!
I feel your pain. I had both lower ball joints dislocate a couple days ago. Lost one in my neighborhood doing a u turn and had it towed home. Replaced that ball joint and went to turn the car around in my driveway and the second one dropped out. They were replaced 10k miles ago but totally destroyed by fly ash. Back on the road tomorrow though.
Great video Carl.
Glad to see you finally solved the vibration issue. As for the wheel nut coming loose, there is a chance that the driveline vibrations might have caused the wheel hub nut to work itself loose. After all those vibrations, might be best to torque check every nut and bolt.
Oh man! That is BEAUTIFUL!!
I'm only at 230whp with my setup and try to do things the right way/build with quality, and my miata still sits on jackstands or in the garage more often than I want. I really hope you have worked through the bugs at this point because I can sympathize with how frustrating it is to chase problem after problem. That's hard enough as it is, but every project you do on the car takes that much longer because you document it here (appreciated!) but, that adds hours to even the simplest jobs.
Lookin good Krek! Keep up the good work man!
Oooh ok almost at 100k good looks man
Discord is next level I have set up several channels for people. I would be super stoked for a car passion channel discord! Glad to see things coming together cant wait to do my first video so you can laugh at it.
I hope that bearing isn't toast from driving with no preload might want to check it you are lucky the wheel didnt fall off. Great video though I'm really excited for you to finally enjoy this car I love howevery aspect of this car has been gone over reminds me a lot of taylor rays miata too. I know your build has been going on longer obvs because I've been watching that long.
Ah dude that’s unfortunate about the axel nut. Really looking forward to you going back and getting some onboard footage.
Also I just put on a set of Nitto NT01s on my supra and I have to say the grip is phenomenal. I do not track it but even street driving and not getting the tires really warm they hook amazingly. The stock brakes actually can't lock them up unless your practically pushing the pedal through the firewall. I dunno if they make them in your size but they are a crazy good 100TW tire and apparently the longest lasting of the 100TW
Hey Grek, your videos are awesome. Really love your content.
*you know I had to do it
I can fit four 225 wheels in the back seat of my classic mini, they all line up perfectly sideways. It is amazing how much you can fit in tiny cars!
God man I need some better coils. Just watching yours reminds me how much I need them. Your car is planted even on some uneven roads!
Now that is a great stance!
Thank you. Thank you. Great channel.
That car is looking SHARP! Talking about canyon run; As soon as you said "...wobble.." I said "STOP!" and had a flashback to the time my lug nuts came loose.........on a canyon run.
hey greg, i love u. you're slowly convincing me to spend all my money getting my miata back.
Don't spend all your money, but getting your Miata back will be so worth it!
Go for an s chassis instead
@@austindoud273 yes spend more money on a chassis with less done to it. I would be buying the car I already owned back. I know when all the mods were done and that they were done right. its littttt. I do want an s chassis at some point tho
@@austindoud273 what's an s chassis?

Good stuff, good hosting
I have the same tires on my 4door Cressida and it touges very well, affordable, long lasting tires that’s why I got them, finally somebody with common sense
That’s so weird that your axel almost backed itself out, I just finished a Taylor ray video and his upper control arm bolt nearly backed itself out as well.
Well anyways im glad to see your making that good progress! And those new tires look like their worth every penny. Lol
1st one this time GO Greg!! Thank's for all passion!
Damn lucky the wheel didn’t fall off, also I’m pretty sure the nut that came off has a bit that you knock in after you tighten it to lock it in place
those new chunky tires look sweet!
Aayyyy congrats on a runner!
gotta love the AR1s. word of warning though. don't learn to trust the grip too much because the one time they're too cold or theres a slippy patch, they bite back hard!!!
You and me both poopybutt! It has been good to me for about a year. Thanks krek
I'm really curious how much life you'll get out of the motor since you definitely went through the pains of doing it right. Any chance you could send off some oil samples for analysis? I'd love to see what blackstone recommends as far as oil change intervals, grades, etc for someone running high boost like your setup. So happy you're finally getting to enjoy the fruits of all your hard work.
Dam boi. Sound track sounds straight out of fast and furious 🔥🔥🔥
Hey Greggg just a heads up about balancing. I have 6ULs and found that they must be mounted to the balancer using the lug nut holes, instead of centering it on a "hub" behind the wheel, as shown in the video. This is because the wheels center themselves using the lug nuts rather than the hub. If your wheels are the same way, you might get better balancing results by mounting them to the machine differently.
Want to see a track day with you chopping some super fast cars! Willow Springs! Button Willow! Laguna Seca!!!!
Matching red flannel for that extra street cred!!
i had ar1 on my bmw for year of daily driving and autocross. But one big problem with them - be very carefully in rain. Sometimes the car can slide like on snow.
i daily drive those on a ND miata, and it was the worst tire I have driven on my car.
wet tramac is horrible, as you said.
if possible, try the avon ZZS for road use (or ZZR for trackdays)
upto 77°F (25°C) this tire is perfect (feeling, grip and wear)
unfortunately, it is now forbidden for road use in Europe (to much roll resistance), so I have to switch to yokohama A52R.
hope these will be as good as the avon
those RS4's are toast :-)
You've got some insane open roads in your area
One lap hero's come from Greece!!!
I'm from Greece too! 😁
Killed it.
I'm excited for you. I am wanting to follow a similar path. I've been looking at the LFX swap.I'm wondering if I could put ITB's on that without too much hassle.I have a bone stock 93.Some of the things I am going to do soon are coolant reroute and been drooling over the Blackbird Fab rollbar. I live up in Ventura County. If you are ever up this way I would love to ride shotgun for some spirited driving! The hills of Malibu are 20 min from my pad.Hit me up anytime, I would be honored to show you around.
aaayyyy Gary lookin' good my dude. Choice rubbery boyes.
As always awesome!
Dang, I haven't seen one of your videos in years. I was super interested in getting a Miata as my first car, but tall people don't fit well in Miatas. Cool to see how far everything has come here.
Thanks man! All you need is the proper seat, mount setup, and steering wheel size/spacing, and you'd be surprised how well you might fit. The stock seat leaves little room for someone above 6'2" or so, but with my setup all the way down I can barely see over the gauge cluster at 5'11" haha.
@@TheCarPassionChannel Yeah, that's what I've heard. I remember I was obsessed with the NB Miata in particular and I watched tons of stuff on the so-called 'foamectomy.' Being 6'5" though, I kind of shrugged the whole idea off after a while and bought a Protege5. I might take another look at my local used market though.
just subscribed to help the 100k push .
Nice tyres George
Bruh! So dope. Love it. Now if only spring would come here in the northeast!
Please, what was the 2nd to last song? The one with the headon driving.
Sarah, The Instrumentalist - Turquoise Waves
Thanks man. Keep up the good work. Love the car, been following since like day 1.
Craig Speeders pumping out fresh awesome content, me likes!
Dope video! New turn signals?
just got home from school and tuned into thecarpassion channel
Happy Birthday Keglet
This car is everything every miata should aspire to be
Im actually stationed in germany and hit the ring pretty frequently and I can forsure confirm they love Nakang Ar-1s im actually running Federal 595-RS pros this season. Looking forward to seeing how they feel
They are amazing. They lasted me 6 trackdays and 15k kilometers. They stick godly on dry and pretty decent on rain if you don't push it too hard.Have fun enjoying them :).I ran 205/50/15 all around because of low hp but it was basically like a go kart
@@blitz3874 awesome glad to hear you liked them that much, there arent that many reviews for them so ill be doing one on mychannel keep a eye out for that brother! I got 275s all around for my c5 z06 so should be pretty epic
@@Beezy_Builds yeah, well they are inclined on the "budget" side of semi slicks so you might get mixed reviews but around my area they are run by cars under 250 hp and the owners seem to be quite happy about them
I see you're still rocking christmas lights on the house 😅
Please keep us updated on the debeadkangs. Very curious if the AR1s are different than the nankangs I've experienced.
Again on the loyft? Getting a little softy are we?:P :) Looks like your friend have a nice and equipped shop
Sunrise highway I'm guessing. Cool stuff man
It's always a good lunch break when I can watch Craiege miata videos.
I'm surprised the axels nuts backed out with hammering the indentation.
Okay if I had not actually watched you do all of this work over the past few years I would be naming this car Christine. Stephen King's updated version. Really glad you didn't get hurt with that bolt disappearing.
Notification squad rollin in!
From my experience the AR1s take quite a bit to switch on. I'm sure what you were experiencing was a bit of that as well as the nut being lose.
You are going to love those tires man but I kinda hate that you let the cat out of the bag. I have been running them on the track after running Maxxis VR1s. The VRs always felt "greasy" when they got up to temp but the NKs have felt AWESOME! About 5 heat cycles now and loving them!
absolutely yes to discord!
Greg, what's your opinion on the RX8 yellow injectors on a 200whp 1.8 miata? I'm going with a CXracing kit, MSPNP2, and then all the other supporting mods. I know that 550cc injectors would be better, but are the RX8 injectors good enough? I'm on a bit of a budget...
Gets a like before Iv even watched it 👌🏼👌🏼
How much is the clearance from the ground to the body panel? Damn it looks nice out here.
gonna miss my 245/35/16 tr1s when they finally wear out or rot. need to downsize so i can still fit 245s without raising the car or rubbing
So happy
Damn those fatboi tires are lookin good!
where to get those front lights in black and do the blinkers still work wit em.
Did you notice a difference in high speed stability with that lip? Like in keeping pressure out from under the hood on the highway?
