The yellow got2be is better for 4c hair but its doesn't dry clear it gives a shine the black one is good to but dries clear i both are good if your dont like applying heat to your hair and if your not going for a sleek straight look water based products will make your hair revert so if you want it sleek and you are natural use a wax with a strong hold and hair spritz and hair spray

@Ami Fullest I use to peek to see what my hair dresser uses on my hair . I noticed she used the yellow Got2B gel. However, your tutorial helped me learn how to neatly sleek back hair to make it look neat . Your hair looks greats and your makeup looks great too!

@Veronica M Harvey it might be the moisturizer that you're using, sometimes different products arent meant to be mixed together so it results in flaking.
no it doesnt flake but it does get hard unlike other gels

What do you use to wash it out?
Cream of nature detangling shampoo is good . Also affirm 5-in -1 conditioner is good too.
Great job. I know you posted this years ago, but I would recommend you to pre-style your hair in the shower so that the water can make it easier for you to get your hair in the ponytail position you desire and let it dry like that to about 60-80% then use the products to slick it in place. This way you don’t have to use as much product and you will get your finish result a lot faster. I tend to use eco, but I’m looking for new products, I will be picking both of these up today ❤. Also does this product flake?

Is that gel thick? Eco styler doesn’t sleek my hair anymore. I repurchased my favorite eco styler gel 10 hold because I ran out and it was like water this time. I bought a different eco styler 10 hold and it too was like water. I have fine 3C hair and it can’t lay my hair anymore. 😞 I used my old eco styler which I had for 2 years and it sleeked my hair and that’s an 8 hold. They definitely changed their mix.
For me,Got 2 b glued flakes when used alone. When you add a lil oil, leave in conditioner, and some shine and Jam? The slickness stays shiny, in place,and not hard as a rock. I’ve found that spraying clove water on my hair after I get out the shower works really well. I also let my hair get a little bit wet in the shower. The process is so much easier on sectioned damp hair. ♥️
@@Orlanzepol123 sorry I didn’t see your comment. I actually still have my eco from years ago, so I’m not sure what their new formula is like, but I would not put it past them. It’s a white company that is heavily patronized by black women. I heard they were racist as well. So if their formula changed it could be that they don’t really care to keep producing a high quality product if we will still keep buying it anyways. I have tried so many things. My fav styler so far has been mousse. But for some reason I can’t find the ones that I was using years ago that laid my hair so good that you would’ve thought I gorilla glued it 😂.

Why does 4c make a zigzag pattern when I put hair gel or glue on it
@@amifullest Apparently 4c's texture is more of a zigzag pattern which would make sense. I'll look into what is in gel & styling hair glue
