Very nice video... Thank you... I also have this printer but it's not a bad printer. Lack of eccentrics nut it's a bad move but for me once I tightened all wheels it works like charm. I added a strain relief on my heated bed and added glass on top of it and its works perfect. The wiring inside this printer is very good with proper secure connections. Two trees contacted me commenting on my video for this printer and they promised the next slots of this printer will have eccentrics nuts and some more upgrades. That's good at least they are ready to change and upgrade there printer according to the user reviews. Options to adjust the X and Y belt tension while printing is a good move. I am using this printer for more than a month and this is my own opinion.

It seems that all Twotrees printers have the issue with the filament sensor. I have a Sapphire Pro with the same. The problem is a wrong cable. If you move the yellow cable from pin 3 to pin 1, it´ll work :-)

Had the possibility to be unbeatable, and wasted it.
Still , for the price, excentric nuts can be bought, heated bed cables can be fixed and firmware can be corrected manually.

Having the heated bed wires exposed and vulnerable to damage is poor Quality Assurance at the factory. That's ridiculous. Back in the day, the original Tevo Tarantula had that same weakness, but then they came out with a bed with a plug so wires could be connected via a receptacle..that was over 3 years ago. No reason TwoTrees can't protect those wires in this day and age of heavy 3D Printer competition. Also the damaged thermistor is bad factory care as well. I would pass on this one. Thanks for the indepth review though :)

Nice Video again from you. I didnt know any other RUclipsr that shows so detailed how the build the printer. I get on ebay advertisment from the Blur, so i was courius to see how it works.
I seems like, the didnt have an QC or the always sleeping, somtehing like that and that causes unnessesary problems to an printer that could be a much better option than an Ender3.
But anyway, what do you think, is it possibel to add some exentric Nuts by yourself to fix these problem?

    • @ruiraptor
      @ruiraptor  4 года назад

      Hi Markus,
TwoTrees modified the bluer and now the printers are equipped with eccentric nuts. Not sure if the old version without eccentric nuts is still available. Anyway, if you get one without eccentric nuts, you can contact TwoTrees and they probably send you the parts needed (eccentric nuts and metal plates) for the conversion.

I have an additional glass but I don't know, if I have it on, it's the right way, I would like to be told what the correct way to put it is
Pyramid goes to the hot bed then follows a glass that has 2 faces one with a black surface and another with a yellow surface style I would like to know if the black part goes up or down, and finally the square with the logo of bluer which is where the impression is made

Thanks for the review, had this in my cart for a while waiting for reviews. Watched Nerys review and hoped he got a "bad" unit, same issues with firmware etc, but it seems they all have it. My deciding point is the lack of eccentric nuts, I think that is a real deal breaker. Pity!

Glue on print surfaces are very old hat and force you to use spatulas to remove your prints, a magnetic or glass print surface is preferable to the majority of the community these days and IMO the majority of people buying this will be newbies unless someone wants this printer so bad they will buy a better surface for it, I cant see this though as there are better quality printers out there in this price point, omission of eccentric nuts is a big mistake IMO.

In addition, regarding the hot bed problem, this has to be said to have a certain relationship with the cost. The current price/performance ratio of this printer is already very high. We have another configuration, adding a hot bed glass, only $10.

IMHO, it's better to save 100-200E more and buy some better printer with 32-bit motherboard (SKR can be a very good choice here). Ender 3 is a great printer till you're starting to improve it. If you're ready to spend a lot of time and wait for upgrade parts then I would say "yes" to Ender 3. Tarantula Pro (as I've seen in few reviews) is a drawback of Tevo printers. It was a very strange move by the way.
It's only my opinion of course.

I also got that printer here but I got an error the motor is losing steps the motor of the instructor because when the filament begins to enter the heater it begins to lose steps so check the reference Driver voltages at 49 88 and it was 0.86 V which is the standard voltage with which it comes but still the motor lost steps even changed to a new Driver of the same reference but at this time the same error continues check with a little higher voltages such as 0.90 0.94 also try with a voltage of 0.90 and eight and one last time test a voltage of 1V but still the motor continues to lose steps when the filament enters the 1.75mm filament it is even the same filament the printer came in to do print tests
I would like to know what solution or what suggestion can you give me regarding this printer with this type of failure because I have tried many things and it has not worked or I have not even made my first impression . Thanks you
