Hello from Australia! We are really enjoying your videos. We are going to look for a house to buy Bagni di Lucca. Please keep making your videos, they're so helpful.
Thanks for the video it was really interesting. We've had quite a few of the dishes you were talking about and some are big favourites especially the soups! We love the fried Buccellato with ice cream it's wonderful. We're travelling to Lucca again tomorrow and looking forward to lots of these treats, can't wait
Some of the ravioli shown in the pictures were made by me and we often make home made pasta. The ones that came from the shop were about 11 Euros and we had four generous portions. For the ragù I made a quick recipe as we wanted to eat the ravioli the same day and it worked very well.
It made our day to bump into you in Lucca. Everything you say about it is true.

Quante cose buone! Avrei mangiato tutti i dolci...
I dolci sono buonissimi
Now we need the recipes!
Some are in old videos but others to follow!
Lardo has so much flavour, Most Brits associate Lard with the white fat in packets, here the lardo is so tasty especially on toasted bread.
Lardo di Colonnata is aged in marble containers kept in caves. It has an incredible flavour
the best food in the world has to be Italian ❤
I have to agree!
Many dishes are specifically seasonal, a true sign of how authentic they are... Garmugia in the spring, necci and castagnaccio in the autumn/winter...
Seasonal cooking with fresh ingredients is indeed the true delight of Italian cooking.
That pasta seems expensive. I’m sure it’s worth it, but not on my budget. The ragù looked delicious. I’ll have to keep on making my own pasta.

Mj fa fame, di sicuro.
E' difficile non avere l'acquolina in bocca con questi piatti
