This is without doubt the best tip video for Atelier interactive that I have seen. Thank you.

These are really helpful video's, I refer to them often. These are my favorite paints. They are the most fun to experiment with. They are cheap to use, larger tubes than other acrylics.

I have a supply of Golden acrylics. Will Atelier mediums work with them? I am especially interested in the unlocking formula.

The Atelier Mediums were formulated to work with the Atelier paint ranges - Interactive, A2 and Free Flow. Since every artist works in their own unique way, it is best to test to make sure that they work the way that suits your painting practice. The Unlocking Formula does not reopen other "traditional" brands of acrylics; it was created to work with Interactive.

Say I've been painting wet into wet and want to make sure those layers don't reactivate when I glaze, would I just need to let the paint fully dry or cure or would I need something to seal it or lock it down before going on? Would the fast medium work as a fixative if applied over those layers?

It depends. Of course, you will want your layer to be dry before glazing but how you were painting wet-in-wet is a factor too. If you were using the Unlocking Formula to facilitate blending, once that evaporates you should be able to glaze. But if you find your underlayer is reactivating, try drying the layer with a hair dryer and sealing the layer with the Fast Medium or Universal Medium before proceeding.

I loved when the gesso fell off the knife and her whole sentence left her mind and she had to pause to think what she was going to say lol

You can paint without mediums, but mediums are helpful for certain effects or make moving the paint around much easier.

so i need to buy a bunch of mediums to work with this paint, i have heard the learning curve of this paint is high.

Nope - you don't need to but a bunch of mediums. You can just use paint and a damp brush, BUT, when you are ready, mediums add to your painting experience.

Can you use normal Gesso to prime before painting with Atelier?

If you are using a different brand of gesso, it is best to test first to make sure the brands are compatible.
