I mean seriously, on my server a blue armor or weapon could be as low as 10 gold at your level. Repairing that same item might be closer to 40 gold. As for the repair kits, that level 37 item is probably a level 4. Which requires a expert repair kit. Which if I remember correctly you get if one of your crafting lines is level 115. Which seems a bit high for me due to the amount of resources and time it takes to get a crafting line to that level. And if you do have have weapon or armorsmithing up that high, you can make your own replacement equipment. It seems odd to me that reaching the level to make a repair kit feels like a Herculean effort compared to reaching the point when you can make said armor and weapons.

I have MWS and it’s no joke. Multiple Weapon Syndrome is a condition suffered by those who can’t decide on a class. In other games this presents as the player who has no level capped characters because they play multiple alts. In New World this becomes increasingly expensive as the good cost rises for attribute respecs as your level increases. My most recent respec was over 400 gold and I’ve probably spent 3,000 gold during my 52 levels. This doesn’t factor in the cost for attribute-appropriate gear either. But, I’ve finally settled on fire/ice/rapier which can all work off light int/con gear ✌️
I’m debating on going intelligence too, because you can go ice/rapier, or fire/ice, or fire/rapier, or even rapier and musket since they scale off intelligence too, just pop in a elemental gem on them and you do about the same damage as a full dex rapier musket, it’s versatility is nice.
On my server, rations can pull decent gold too. I get like .5g light ration 2g for travel ration, 3g for light meals. So a stack off 100 makes decent money, will sell in a day or 2 so I just smack it up for 3 days.
The repair symbol next to the arrow that you can click to fast transfer items from your inventory to your storage, that's the repair all button for items in that section
CAREFUL putting items for high prices in the market can be a shot in your own knee. Costs can raise quite high depending on faction/city/reputation. Just set the price a little bit over the current worth instead.
First of all, I love your videos! I'm a level 37 and didn't know about the locking feature until now either haha. The tip about transferring items using the Trade Post is so genius!! Thank you for all of the great New World content.
Wow this app that you advertised in the beginning is awesome I'm a hardcore day of the gamer and I have zero friends or guildies and I can never ever find the group I don't know how good this works but I'm definitely going to download it when I get home
Tip #4: if you're gonna go to another city to list an item (i.e. sandpaper) to transfer it without (or lower) fees, why not just put it in your inventory and just fast travel without listing it? slightly more azoth sure but its not like azoth is hard to farm. Just seems like an extra step costing extra gold that's not really worth it.
You mentioned a completely different video for your New World Complaints... I for one, would love that video. Especially if you're completely honest, don't give a shit about your standing with that company enough to give those honest opinions, and won't hold back :D New World needs this criticism if it's going to get any better.
@6:15 If you sell an item for 100 then you will be taxed more, you should set the price as low as you can aka if the item is selling for 0.1 then set your items for 0.15. This is so that if they sell before you can go to the city you want to store them at least you will have made some coin and can buy the cheaper ones.
The trading post moving things tip quickly becomes irrelevant when you have houses, just port all over the place practically free, 3 house ports and an INN at 0 cost regardless of weight
I’ve made over 50k at the trading post, only lvl 42 but max all skills crafting. I do disagree w one aspect- the 1-2 hours. Imo at low level, XP isn’t as valuable anyhow. Ideally, you should spend that time getting you crafting / mining/ skills up as much (specifically eng, smelt, stonecutt, forge, weapon) those 5 are all intertwined skills that benefit off each other from skinning and mining. (IE 1 hour of iron mining, turn into ingot, ingot into tools, tools into trading post and flip rinse repeat) So that by the time you’re level 35, you have no problem cranking out star metal tools like a breeze. Then make yourself starmetal tools, find the rare resource buff, mine and then your gems you get are way better. At that point you’d have abundance of starmetal to flip tools, armor, weapons for 500-1000+ an item. It becomes way easier to buy the best gear and trophies and houses at that point which propel your pvp and pve missions.
To add, your weapons can only get to lvl 20 master anyway… so you say pick a few weapons, but ideally you should play with as many as you want before 50/55 so that you can understand styles. It’s fairly easy to lvl up to 20 mastery with a day of grinding.
Here is one before you even start leveling don't level on a low pop server unless you all ready have friends on that server, because you will be like my first character being stuck for story quest at depths or worse armine.

Which town do u sell them at ?
Each of the sections in your inventory also have a repair all button. look for the wrench in the upper right of the section.
Great video :) Hope you can keep up the content as the game goes on!
My guy, you can repair all items in you inventory. Its in the top part by the side of 'Aparrel' or 'weapons'.
Wait, for transferring items- can't you just put them in your inventory then teleport to the town you wanna move them to?
Tip #4 after they sync'd the Trade Posts - will cancel and appear in the Storage Shed where you posted it from.
On the first thing there is a repair all button for the inventory, it’s the little thing at the top with the category title
If you're going to go to another settlement to cancel the order could you not just take it with you in your inventory?
In ur inv where ur weapons and armour are above them there is a cog with a spanner inside it icon that will repair all ur inv weapons and armour
I'm sure it's because he's big on crafting. So his inventory is probably full all the time so fast traveling would cost like 400+ Azoth.
Option to repair inventory items in bulk has always been in the game.
You mentioned a completely different video for your New World Complaints... I for one, would love that video. Especially if you're completely honest, don't give a shit about your standing with that company enough to give those honest opinions, and won't hold back :D New World needs this criticism if it's going to get any better.
i saw you were playing hatchet spear, how do you spend attributes to get best scaling/best damage?
U can repair each category of armor and weapons in your inventory with the small button next to the drop all button
The trading post trick seems kinda counter productive, as at that point you might aswell just teleport with the item in your inventory
You spend less azoth the lighter you are
#1 there is a repair all for your inventory. It's the gear next to drop all
Your videos are a good 20% quieter than the rest of RUclips.
Get me 3 houses and I wont care either.
@@ronniekoomba922 it only takes about 5-6 hours to farm the coin for 3 houses
@@brandonlink7091 Doing what exactly? I would love to get me some houses
@@wolffe6044 what is your server prices on iron ore, green wood, coarse hide and fiber?
@@wolffe6044 Farm Fiber near the Hog Camp south of Mourningdale, almost always uncontested
Bro i did the 6:2 hour rule xP I am maxed out on some gatherng skills at 40
Manually Salvage. There are items that can be salvaged even when locked because of a bug.
Thanks that is a lot of very good info!
Storage system is perfect, hopefully they never change it for people who hate awesomeness
The problem with the item transfer is yea you save gold but you are spent Azoth to port back and forth that isn't free.
Great video. Been using most of these tips already but going to take what I wasn’t and start using them. I’m only a level 34 tank
there is a little gear button in each inventory section... that repairs everything in that section
There is a little gear in the corner of the weapons and armor tab that repairs them all.
(IE 1 hour of iron mining, turn into ingot, ingot into tools, tools into trading post and flip rinse repeat)
So that by the time you’re level 35, you have no problem cranking out star metal tools like a breeze.
It’s fairly easy to lvl up to 20 mastery with a day of grinding.
lol you can repair weapons or armor with inventory with one button :D just press wrench above items :D
Can you explain more about faction missions…. I’m at my cap for lvl 1 but I don’t have an advancement mission
Holy heck this was helpful!!! Thank you so much!
Thanks for the tips!
Here is one before you even start leveling don't level on a low pop server unless you all ready have friends on that server, because you will be like my first character being stuck for story quest at depths or worse armine.
Appreciate the tips
