Stopping for a kid crying alone on the side of the street? Then staying until someone comes home to let him in? You're a great person dude... kudos kudos kudos :-). Come to San Diego, I have a giant pine with your name all over it!
Thank you for being such a wonderful man. Helping random people all the time. I don’t care how rough you are, you can’t hide what a good man you really are.
My father in law have an MS260 for at least 20 years (then, in 98 it was 026) and it is an amazing saw! I did 2 rebuilds for last 6 years, mostly due to confusing gas and putting the one without oil. I changed a cylinder+piston and hoses and the second was a complete rebuilt with splitting the crack case and changing the bearings. For over 20 years it is amazing.
Ive been watchin for a bit. Im 16 and my dad does tree work and ive worked with him for the last two summers and this year im going to start climbing some so im looking forward to it been saving so im hopefully ordering my stuff soon. Glad to see you back climbing!!
this man is always listening to tool, every time i hear The Pot i get an intense level of nostalgia that i dont get from anything else... that song is my soul
Good stuff man, that was a really cool thing to help that kid out, and also really cool of you not to bring your camera and make a big spectacle about it for views. Great channel!
What's a good resource for learning how to climb safely and the equipment involved? I've worked trees for a long time, however, I have several that need to be climbed. Instead of hiring someone to do it, I would rather buy the equipment and learn to do it myself. Thanks for another great video, Human!
Only true resource is to have another climber in the tree with you. I'll be the first to admit that you can't learn on the ground what you need for in the tree. Thought I knew something before I ever climbed, and was damn glad Joe was beside me the first time I actually went up. For great information though, I'd check out the climbing arborist, educated climber, or the isas' own youtube channel which is called arborpod.
I enjoy a lot of your videos and I do not claim to be an arborist. I have been trimming and tackling wood for about 40 yr and I have a question about your methods, not trying to 2nd guess but just curious. I notice you cut the same limb numerous times in your vid, like at 14:45 it almost seems like your cutting kindling hanging in the tree. A lot of others where you cut the main limb off them the stump and then cut it again for a 1/2"? Just seems like to me it is a lot of time wasted hanging in the tree and more little chunks to be picked up off the ground, just an observation. Keep up the good vids!
Another great vid Human. Between you and my brother, I'm 100% a Stihl guy Bought a used MS291 about 2 months ago from the company he works at in Springfield, Mo...Vinton Supply. Stop by if you're ever in the Southwest area. Next is a 441 Magnum.
Awesome video! Careful with those left handed one hand chainsaw cuts. I'm getting way to comfortable with those cuts and they are dangerous. also why no tree motion review? I've used that saddle for years. Like I said in previous comments before... I owe you a beer.
I'm pretty happy with them so far, not as comfy as I'd like in spurs, but I'm thinking it's likely because I'm a bit, shall we say, hefty, at the moment, lol.
Didn't really have a plan, just went up and played it by ear. Would have gone higher and gotten a bit more, wasn't super comfortable back in the saddle just yet though.
Good job man. No telling what could've happened otherwise. Glad to see you healing well, I know not as fast as you'd like but looking good nonetheless.
@@Human1337 Thanks! I am looking at purchasing a chainsaw and i really liked how you were able manuver with it one handed and it seemed really balanced. Is there any local store in the St Louis or St charles area that sells this saw that you would recommend? Also, i forgot to say this earlier, but that was really kind of you to stop for that kid.
Hey if you guys ever head over to the little big city on the western border of the state to do storm clean up, keep track of my screen name, I got some delicate work needs doing. There are no professionals to your caliber here.
Not too familiar with the echo or husky models, I hadn't really been interested in the 150 until recently when August did his first job with the MSA160T and felt kinda meh about it. Now I'm seriously thinking about getting a 150 instead.
I've read about many using the same and loving it. Plan on it myself, but I feel for a video with the treestuff logo on it I should be as by the book as I can. Honestly didn't even know about the slim number of ropes that are approved by petzl to run in the ZZ =/
I am trying to become a climber. But have found that the gear is so expensive. Do you have any stuff you no longer use, I would buy it from you. TY human
I got told by my college teacher when I did tree surgery not to cut too close to the trunk when you cut down a branch no less than 2 inches or you can kill the tree but I've seen you do it less than an inch who is right if my teacher teach me wrong or did you do it wrong just wondering
You not going to kill it a 1 inch the only problem that will happen is if you cut into the bark partially or all the way around on he main trunk or a main branch it cuts nutrients from being delivered anywhere above the injury to the bark resulting in the death of a part of the trunk or even the entire tree. So just make sure when trimming a tree cut it at a length away from the trunk where the diameter of the branch is still retained = most amount of bark retained. Alot of people gouge trees when trimming removing amounts of bark far larger in diameter than the branch was. He most likely said this 2 inch rule because he knew people might do that.
Yeah I got told you can kill the tree because it won't heal because I got told off at college for doing the same thing it was about an inch maybe a little bit less and he said it won't kill the tree straight away but after a couple of years you'll see the tree start dying
Wayne Essar I know where to cut I was just wondering if I was cutting in the right place because he was putting closer than I was told I usually cut about an inch and a half away from the trunk
I know that first big tree you pruned was in rough shape but weight reduction is best done by reducing the ends of limbs, not be removing the lower branches. Removal of the lower limbs actually increases the leverage experienced by the tree as there are less limbs lower down to dampen the forces on the tree. Say no to lion tailing
Always good to see a new video dude. I was wondering if you could answer a question, kind of a rookie here. Just got 2 new Stihl's, 271's. I found a couple stations that sell the Ethanol ( alcohol) free gas, I mixed it with the Stihl silver bottle oil, what kind of shelf life would you give it? What kind of oil do you use, I thought i saw in one of your videos you went with something else, maybe Amsoil? Thanks !
Ethanol free fuel can keep for 3 to 6 months depending on quality of container. If your can has a tight seal and you dont leave much room for air inside you can expect better storage
Thanks thats a cool set up you got i know for a fact you trust your equipment looking for some new climbing saddles that the tree company i work for approve of
Man, that shit with the kid scares the crap out of me... all it would take is a parent to scream abduction... good on you for helping out, I am hesitant to invite the man into peoples lives, If the kid could give me numbers to call I'd call em, maybe check with a neighbor for a contact number. Sounds like you got a gig but if you're still looking for a climbing job in the Lou lemme know, I know a guy that is looking for climbers.
Trying to order something online I've forgotten the name for it does anybody know the name of the strap you hook to your harness and hook to your chainsaw in the tree obviously somebody will know I've just forgotten the name of it
the other guys tree service what is the thing what you put your rope through when you're climbing to stop the Rope you have a carabiner on one end you feed your rope through this thing and you pull the Rope up and it locks while you're climbing so you don't fall can't remember the name please help in case anybody is wondering I forgot all the names I had all the gear it just got all stolen that's why I'm asking so many questions lol
i believe that is the Matt Cornell Rope Saddle, MCRS for short. he has a video where in the title its referenced as MCRS. heres the unboxing video ruclips.net/video/johHf9oRIDU/видео.html
Nice job on the big ashtree. But damn your hand/forearm is close to the chainsaw sometimes. Watch out for yourself. Been too close myself... not a treat ;-)
Expand your capabilities. If there are jobs taking down trees that are in dangerous places or positions, use Tanerite. Get it at a sporting goods store. Totally legal. Cut a notch, pack with Tanerite, use rifle to detonate. Trees are the only thing I've found this useful on. Everybody else just uses it for entertainment. Anyway, your out of the way when everything go's so you'll be safe.
Found you channel by accident and I am glad I did!! Coming from a fellow depression suffer you are inspiring! Keep it up you are a great man!

I just watched this after following you for years. Proud of you bubba and the track you on now. Love you human

You can always see the difference in a pure production climbers belt and a competition fancy climbers belt.
Human being a human and a nice guy...behind the tough exterior lies a heart of gold...good on ya man.
New Tool album coming out soon!
Ive been watchin for a bit. Im 16 and my dad does tree work and ive worked with him for the last two summers and this year im going to start climbing some so im looking forward to it been saving so im hopefully ordering my stuff soon. Glad to see you back climbing!!
Nice! Enjoy it, it's the shit.
this man is always listening to tool, every time i hear The Pot i get an intense level of nostalgia that i dont get from anything else... that song is my soul
Thanks for the video sir.....I live on the road working and you make my evenings tolerable....way better than TV
BTW Corey great job looking after that kiddo. Well done. Glad it was you that found him
Thanks for stopping, there are some decent humans left.
Nice vid Human. Good on you for stopping for that kid.
nice on the kid siting thats for sharing n rad to see ya back in the trees ! , really like the way ya put that harness together ..
The thing i love about your videos is Tool in the background!
Great human being! Setting a great example for us!!
I like your taste in music. The Pot by TOOL was playing as you went over your harness at the beginning.
Good stuff man, that was a really cool thing to help that kid out, and also really cool of you not to bring your camera and make a big spectacle about it for views. Great channel!
Nice seeing you in the trees mate👍
I am new to your channel and one that I have noticed is you have great taste in music. Turn it up!
TooL is the best music for the shop!
Your a good dude Human. Most people wouldn't have stopped for that child or waited until someone came home

add treeboi4life to that list human gave you.

Mostly to keep the butt away from the trunk on removals, and on pruning to prevent bark peeling which damages the tree
I'm 17 and you're quite the inspiration!
Glad to see using a three-step cut
Main constants in your videos: you're a fucking badass and your taste of music on on spot!
That sweet kid could have been a statistic. Thank god for you.
Another great vid Human. Between you and my brother, I'm 100% a Stihl guy Bought a used MS291 about 2 months ago from the company he works at in Springfield, Mo...Vinton Supply. Stop by if you're ever in the Southwest area. Next is a 441 Magnum.
Will do! Enjoy the saws

Where did u get that blue flannel coat from? That Thing is awesome. Probably big money too.
Goodwill about 12 years ago, probably $5 =)
Human Beauty! Goodwill is my fashion consultant too!
Nice work. Looking good in the tree. I need to get me some cloggers.
I'm pretty happy with them so far, not as comfy as I'd like in spurs, but I'm thinking it's likely because I'm a bit, shall we say, hefty, at the moment, lol.
When trimming that tree for weight reduction, what was your system as far as deciding what branches and how many to cut?
Didn't really have a plan, just went up and played it by ear. Would have gone higher and gotten a bit more, wasn't super comfortable back in the saddle just yet though.
Good rule a thumb is one third. And work the tips in. And don't Lion tail shit
Good job man. No telling what could've happened otherwise. Glad to see you healing well, I know not as fast as you'd like but looking good nonetheless.
What is the investment for that entire setup?
I think were starting to see a more relaxed human thats comfortable in his own skin.
what is the model number of that chainsaw you were using when you were up in the tree?
MS200T
@@Human1337 Thanks! I am looking at purchasing a chainsaw and i really liked how you were able manuver with it one handed and it seemed really balanced. What kind of tips and set up do I need to get started
you have a good taste in music

Panicked at 12:15 mark thinking you started cutting your flip line.
Nice pruning cuts Human, would you consider an Echo 2511tes, Stihl ms 150 or a Husky 2510 for pruning?
Not too familiar with the echo or husky models, I hadn't really been interested in the 150 until recently when August did his first job with the MSA160T and felt kinda meh about it. Now I'm seriously thinking about getting a 150 instead.
Human I.m.o trying to prune with a 200/201t or a t540 is like trying to swat flies with a sledgehammer.
Did you have to get insurance set up for side jobs or does your work hook you up? Asking for a friend
I run Yale Ivy’s with my zigzags I’m 320 my fellow climber she is 115 it works well for both.. great video
I've read about many using the same and loving it. Plan on it myself, but I feel for a video with the treestuff logo on it I should be as by the book as I can. Honestly didn't even know about the slim number of ropes that are approved by petzl to run in the ZZ =/
Advanced setup... I need the basics
@2:25 is that a granny knot?
Yeah, just a bs square knot, all it's doing is holding the accessory holder in place.
Just a little good-natured ribbing. Good job as a decent human being, too.
Damn you looked good and steady in the tree. How did it feel crazy tree guy?
I am trying to become a climber. But have found that the gear is so expensive. Do you have any stuff you no longer use, I would buy it from you. TY human
That tree at your uncles house has probably seen better days
That looked nothing like an ash tree ,look like a maple to me
how many time did chainsaws cut ur pants or legs?
The tree your in now ,looks to be a red oak tree
What are you using to see your camera screen on your phone?
The gopro app

Great work Human!
Another great video. What dashcam do you use.
Don't know the exact model, it's a garmin something, not the high end, not the low.
Those were some very gnarly crotches on that Ash tree. Is it normal for limbs to grow over and then into each other.
Tool I love it man
And Slipknot two of my favorite bands
is that tool you're listening to?
Absolutely
Is that Tool?
Always tool!
Well and some Slipknot too :)
That coat tho!!!🔥🔥🔥
Great job and very very well done on the babysitting job 😂🤪😂🤪😂

Good tree work also.
Well done that man!.
Listening to tool! Nice!
What tyoe of ash?
66Cashius i was wondering the same thing. The bark looked different than most Ash
or red oak
Someone on RUclips that's in my area that's kindof kewl.

Hi
Thank you for watching out for the little human. ❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I really wanted a MCRS, but people and their stupid fragile sensibilities always ruin EVERYTHING!!!!
Obligatory "Don't climb alone!" comment. Looking good up there, though. Stay safe!
Had to stop this vid and go jam to some tool
Love title that have 1% content in video
Pradatoru you want him to film a crying child that's not even his and plaster it on RUclips?
you're life is wild...
Tool nice!!!
thats an oak tree
Cool Human
Human, sup
That’s good luck. Up side down wishbone.
Looks like oak and walnut
That's not an ash lol without doubt that's not an ash tree human lol
Tool !!!👍👍
