    This shows that a real car enthusiast is open to any brands and doesn’t stick to only one brand, other people call themselves enthusiasts but they dis other car brands which is a toxic trait. If you really love and passionate ka with cars you will always find the good side of every brand. Driving performance, and comfort is one of the strong points of ford. Nice vlog sir levi..

      Totoo nga naman.. kung totoong mahilig ka talaga sasakyan then dapat di makitid utak mo.. ibang tao kasi kung maka stick to one brand sobrang lala eh to the point na ang toxic na nila. Minsan masarap din talaga magtry ng iba and di usual sa iba..happiness and contentment with what you purchased tops it all of. Kasi kung bumili ka ng sasakyan tapos di ka naman masaya then ibig sabihin you chose a wrong car and nagpadala ka lang sa mga sinasabi ng iba and di mo sinunod talaga gusto mo..

      Sticking to one car brand isn't toxic maybe na test nya na and subok nya na ang car brand kaya nag stick siya dito. Ang toxic eh ang paniniwala nilang brand nila ang perpekto, matibay, malakas, matipid etc.

    Correct. I'm a member of several car groups sa FB. Paano buksan yung hood, saan nakalagay yung jack or saan yung jacking points. Pano patayin yung alarm pag na trigger, service and replacement schedules etc. Eh yung ibang info na yan, ine explain pa yan minsan ng tao sa casa bago bigay turnover sayo yung sasakyan. 😊

    I like that Sir Levi considers driving this truck a bit of a hassle, especially on tight streets and chaotic roads with many motorcycles and jeeps. He recognizes that it may cause inconvenience to other motorists, which shows how considerate he is. He's not like other pickup drivers who barrel around recklessly just because they drive a big vehicle. Huge respect for you sir!

Although observation ko naman is nag adjust na yung ECU sa driving habit ko. Good thing about newer tech cars nowadays is tuturuan ka talaga na wag na tumutok which is a toxic Pinoy driver trait.

Nag-ootomatic LOW Beam sya sa road curves na maraming reflected road signs most of the times. At maraming times na hindi sya naglolow BEAM kahit may kasalubong ka na - so you need to press pa para iturn off. I used to have a Ford Explorer V6 engine. Medyo malakas sa gasoline pag city driving (around 5-6km per liter) but combine with city and highway driving, it will deliver the performance at 12km per liter. Agree that Ford should introduce an alternative petrol engine. Maraming Ford enthusiast looking forward on the V6. They need to do their market research and customer survey.

But overall, I think the chassis tune and innovations put the Ranger Raptor (and to an extent, even just the regular Rangers) in a completely different playing field from the rest in its class.

    Hi Sir Levi! Really thankful about this informative and transparent content you have for the Ford Ranger Raptor. I’ve been researching for a new 4x4 pickup to buy, which will primarily be used for daily city drive and weekend light off-road. When I came across Ford pickup trucks, the common issue, as you’ve mentioned din in your content, was the transmission problem. Particularly sa 10 speed transmission. I’m curious to know Sir, how was Ford able to resolve the issue with its 10 speed transmission?

    • @ridewithlevi6418
      @ridewithlevi6418  4 месяца назад +2

      They changed the quality of the transmission parts in the newer gens. Actually yung mga nagka problem before during 2019 is batch lang yun with conduction sticker with C1 and C2 may mga nagkaproblem sa tranny pero di naman lahat.. Napalala lang yung idea na affected most ng ford raptor dahil sa mga nagkakalat ng misinformation about the issue. My cousin owns a 2019 na raptor wala naman siyang issue sa tranny still going strong until now.. matter of hit and miss talaga sa pagkuha ng unit. Meron talagang batches na tinatamaan ng issue kahit ibang brands pa yan

  • @rexhinlo3398
    @rexhinlo3398 6 месяцев назад +20

    If Ford decides to bring the Raptor in V6, it will be more expensive since you have to pay more taxes for the extra two cylinders. I believe this is covered under a presidential decree discouraging large engines during the fuel crises during the ‘70s. As for the price of parts, it’s natural that US-made vehicles’ parts are expensive compared to Japanese parts because of the region where the vehicle is. If you live in North America, Japanese parts are more expensive compared to “domestic” vehicles. Parts assemblies are getting common nowadays to save time. In North America, parts assemblies have a core value when you trade in your parts to a new or remanufactured one. John Deere has been doing this for quite sometime at the disappointment of the old, traditional farmers who prefer to fix a specific broken part and who hate to buy the whole assembly. For instance, if you need a water pump repaired with a John Deere tractor, the old system was to buy a repair kit and have the pump assembly repaired by the owner. Nowadays, you bring the whole assembly and they will replace you with either a brand new assembly or a remanufactured assembly. The core value of the old assembly will be deducted from the price of the replacement part.

      Nakausap ko ang isang manager ng Ford, the reason they can not bring the V6 raptor is because the quality of our fuel here. Kahit daw sabihin na Euro 6, its not as clean as in other countries. Magkakaron ng issues sa engine, and masisira nanaman ang Ford pag nagakron ng problem sa engine where in fact it is bec of the quality of Phil fuels. Maselan yung high end engines ng Ford sa quality ng fuels

      @@AR-px1ty Possible. Kasi nagka problema sila sa injectors ng 4 cylinder na early model Raptors. Diyan na sira ang reputation ng Isuzu Trooper sa 4JX engine nila. They brought in that engine kahit na ang fuel natin hindi pa compatible sa engine nila. Ang daming nasira na injectors ng Trooper. They could have used their old engines for the Philippine market.
      On the other hand, pag V-6 ang pinasok nila dito, siguro tataas ang price by at least P500,000.00 in my estimates.

    In reference to your vlog, Mr. Levy, I would like to suggest an improvement to the braking system of Ford vehicles. Based on my personal experience, there have been instances where the brakes did not respond immediately during abrupt stops. This poses a significant safety risk, particularly for drivers who do not practice defensive driving techniques. It is crucial to address this issue to prevent potential collisions and ensure the safety of drivers and passengers.

    I suspect Ford Philippines cannot find a good pricing scheme for the V6 diesel in the Philippine market. They priced the 2.0 i4 aggressively in the place where the v6 diesel should be. Parang kulang ng planning at di pinaghandaan ang pagdating ng v6 variant. Ngayon wla na sila mapagsingitan. Pricing it above the 2.0's will surely be unpopular, more so from a country that loves to hate Ford cars. Parallel story applies for the fate of Everest V6.

    on my wildtrak, i love it, i dont have complaint with engine, since i dont race, and its powerful enought to haul our stuff, and comfortable at the same time.
    yung apple carplay, nagdidisconnect pag napadaan malapit sa cellular tower, even sa highway bandang tollgate sa may bicutan. which annoying specially if inaasahan mo at di ka familiar sa daan, even connecting via cable doesnt totally fix it.
    i have 4x2, so any other feature is wala.(almost all).
    fuel efficiency is at par with my honda jazz 1.5(9-12km/l) while si wildtrak, nasa around 7-10km/L.. both on mix riding(90%citiy/10% highway). so mostly ginagamit ko lang if malayo pupuntahan(>20km) or may kakargahin na di kaya sa jazz ko.
    comfort wise, super comfortable.

    Hi po. Regarding po sa Wireless Carplay issue. Possibly po baka sa area na dinadaanan nyo po is may wifi network na nag aauto connect ang phone nyo. Kaya nadidisconnect from Ranger wifi. Kasi Wireless Carplay is using wifi. Not sure about this po. Just wanted to try and help 😁
    Great review po. Always looking forward to your vlogs. One of the most technical reviewer and always attention to detail. More power sir!

    Tama Sir, sa laki ng power ng makina bakit timing belt, yung Isuzu nga pinaka maliit na MUV timing gear, Mitsibishi naman timing chain. May mekaniko nag sasabi sa akin kung full US specs Ford dito, di na ma afford ng klaseng market natin, nag cost cutting din sila

      Di ko lang nasama din sa video pag dinala ni ford ang v6 raptor malaki ang price difference because of the extra cylinders. Sa market natin parang hindi bebenta pero it will be a fun truck with a niche market

      @@ridewithlevi6418 mas mura ang diesel sa pinas unlike dito sa Canada mas mahal ang diesel. ok ang V6 3.0L 405 hp. malakas pero malakas din sa kunsumo.

    I agree with what he said that Ford Raptor owners are sophisticated. If you are the type who is looking for a straightforward vehicle that will take you from point A to point B, this vehicle is not for you because it has so many added features and tech, which means a lot of items to maintain in the future.
    I look at it this way: even the iPhone, which is regarded as the best phone of today, is not indestructible to malfunctions. So just imagine that type of tech incorporated into your vehicle. If your iPhone breaks, you can take it to the Apple Service Center and leave it there until it is diagnosed and fixed. But for your car, it's a different story. While your car is being diagnosed, you can't use it, which means you need another vehicle, the time, and the patience to maintain a lifestyle truck like the Ford Raptor.
    I chose the Hilux over the Raptor not because I feel one brand is greater than the other. My personality is simple, and I value peace of mind above all. I do not want any surprises that my day would start with a sensor blinking somewhere or a sensor not working properly here and there. But if I had the patience, time, and knack for a complete lifestyle experience truck, the Raptor is a dream car.
    I admire this vlogger for his unfiltered and honest approach. Despite owning a Raptor, he provides fair reviews and is transparent about the cons of his vehicle. Always looking forward to your vlogs, and you are living a blessed life, Sir Levi.

    The mechanical aspects need to trickle down to the base model, and the electronics need to be thrown in the trash. An experienced driver doesn't need all the bells and whistles and only needs a vehicle that can be an extension of his abilities. If they took a raptor and an xl and put them together, then they would have an affordable truck that is capable of handling whatever most road enthusiasts would come across. A base model xl with front and rear differential locks would plenty for 90 percent of the drivers in the philippines.
