I saw her sing this at a Blooming, Buzzing, Confusion, gig. (with Robin Ince and Alan Moore). I was sitting with daughter and it reminded me of the rush of getting her Mum to hospital when she was being born... I'm not ashamed to say it made me cry We spent a couple of hours chatting with them afterward too. A great night
Absolutely fantastic. Watched her live earlier this week, with a shortened set, and she still shone. Out-fucking-standing. The song that hooked me was 'Black Tie'. I don't remember the lyrics but I do know that they made me want to punch people that would ever get in this person's way in the face. Grace Petrie can choose whatever pronoun she wants, she's still fucking brilliant.
The world needs more Grace Petrie
