I think this thing should still be renamed, into something involving Powder. Otherwise, it's kind of unfair to Ekko and Alt-Powder. The original Jinx did not need this boy for many years, and even after the rescue, she went to save her sister, and during the crash of the airship did not show any concern about him at all, just stood and joked next to her sister. And then, it seems, she ran away from everyone. The original Jinx seemed more interested in the fate of her sister and her girlfriend than the condition of an old childhood friend.

She also switches to dropping off the edge in her suicide attempt when Ekko tells her the blast will kill them both. She cares about him. You just need to look closer. Also look into the official art book and writers’ comments on the ship for more proof.
