Hello. I have a MITSUBISHI LANCER 10 1.8 cvt. CVT re0f10a. The car stopped switching. They dismantled the valve body and saw that the cone position sensor had worn out. Dismantled again and saw that the cone position sensor was again erased. What could be the reason? The belt and cone are in good condition. Thank you in advance.
Very informative video, thanks. My question is about extending the life of these units. Some guys on RUclips recommend installing an auxiliary cooler. They say many failures are caused by overheating the transmission's . What do you think?

Thanks for the video. 2008 Nissan Rogue AWD. Slow acceleration and some stuttering noticed. Transmission fluid looked clean and was full. Progressed to the point of barely inching forward from a stop (like stuck in 4th gear) and code P1778. Would that really be the stepper motor, something in the valve body, or the valve in the internal CVT pump? Or something else? Anyone have any ideas?
I would start with the Pump, it is the most likely issue. Make sure that the pump you use has been re-manufactured and anew flow control valve installed. We have these available by calling 800-940-0197 and speaking to a sales representative. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you for watching the video. @@whateverittakestransmissio9099 Thank you for the reply. The only problem with that is that I'd need to remove the CVT first, which is quite a bit of work for a non-mechanic. Can you tell us if it’s possible to replace the pump without taking the transmition out of the car? Just by removing the valve body and gettin access from the bottom
No, there are 3 bolts you wont have access to.
The ROM module needs to stay with the vehicle it came out of unless the tag # on the top is the same? So if I have a salvage transmission with the same tag # as my bad transmission should I swap the ROM from my bad tranny to my replacement (used/salvage) tranny
I have the REOFO9a and it has the springs inside and by brother is trying to reassemble, but both pulleys are completely descended once put together and can't get the belt in how do you solve this? Thank you to any one who can help

Hello! can you share jf414e/re4f03c repair service manual
We hope the information was helpful.
@@whateverittakestransmissio9099 Thank you for the reply. The only problem with that is that I'd need to remove the CVT first, which is quite a bit of work for a non-mechanic. I guess I'll try the valve body first and if that doesn't fix it, I'll have to decide if the car is worth the cost of replacing the transmission.
Teacher, can I use the loctite 518 on that case thankyou
thanks for share

Does the aging counter need to be reset when changing the oil? In theory, if there is a variable, then if the threshold value is exceeded, it can throw the variator into emergency mode. Is it so?
As a standard practice, I would say Yes the aging counter needs to be reset.

has been completely damaged Ratio Control Motor Follower Fork. Is it necessary to dismantle the entire transmission for inspection? Or replace the damaged element by removing only the side cover? In this case, I probably won't have to remove the gearbox from the car. Mitsubishiu RVR 2017 W1CJA. Thank You Tomasz
Hello Tomasz! Thank you for your comment. You will in fact need to remove the transmission and inspect every component.
@@whateverittakestransmissio9099 Thank You very much for Your answer
