It’s the bleach used with a 30 or higher volume developer relaxin the hair. There is no sodium hydroxide relaxer involved. U can never use bleach and sodium hydroxide relaxer on hair together. If you did the hair would disintegrate off the head 🤷🏽♀️
I usually color my hair weeks before I get a relax . I didn’t know it was safe my stylist told me to color two weeks after or before . Love the look on her !
Coloring after a relaxer is best. I find that coloring the hair then relaxing 2 weeks after the hair breaks. You can color after a relaxer but not relax after a color.

Every stylist has their methods. I know mine uses Mild relaxer and Olaplex in the bleach.
