- So this August was my one year of doing Inner Engineering. In this video I'm sharing with you guys, what was going in my life before that? How I got interested in spirituality and how I ended up doing inner engineering!
A very common thing I get to hear is, I have been brainwashed. But my effort will continue. My goal is not to defend Sadhguru or making everyone do Inner engineering. All I want is people to be aware of Spirituality. Keep the conversation going. Choose your own guru but don't ridicule Spirituality.

@@pavankumarbidri you've got only one video I can give you many such videos with all kind of allegation and many times they have been answered but it'll be better if you'll personally ask him the questions and clear your doubts in front of the man himself. he's always ready to answer why don't you satisfy yourself with the answers and if you could prove him guilty it'll be achievement for you but I am unable to understand why do believe others coz as we all know there all kind of propaganda in the world be it political, religious, ideological etc. You should find your answers not let others to make the case for you. I would like you to make your own conclusions and do not get influenced by anyone be it sadhguru or that guy.

And what does he do.. read the books and tell to people. And moreover know the meaning of Ashram.. ashram refers to a place with minimum facilities far away from materialistic things. Isha centre is like a luxury resort.
And regarding me proving him guilty I think it's not possible because histroy and truth can easily changed/ manipulated in india.
Being a Bengali and an Isha meditator I can exactly understand your take on the prejudices of the people around regarding spirituality. I was one of them too. But inner engineering truly changes everything. These days I am being considered brainwashed and stupid by my know-it-all friends! But no one can overlook the transformation, not even the most prejudiced ones.

@Avinash K sorry for the confusion. I meant that may you also taste this dimension known as spirituality. If you cannot make it work with Isha you can go with someone else whom you can trust. As long as you have become an evolved human being why should it matter to me? I may remind you that It is not in my capability to defend Isha nor it is needed. I can only share how I am benefitting from Isha Yoga.

Why do you need other for acknowledging your inner well being.. after going through inner engineering if you still need acknowledgment from others then you need to spend some time with yourself. Remember "responsibility is our ability to respond not to react and your responsibility is unlimited... " AUM... Nischala tathway jiwan mukthi... Have a blissful time...
@Avinash K Don't expect people to do long debates on silly subjects like that without knowing any details. And anyway they aren't interested in all that stuff. What matters to them is their own transformation which they see through Isha yoga.
About all the questions you raised, they are answered in the book Sadhguru: More Than a Life.
@Avinash K You seem to know everything, why don't you take some action lawfully if you are so damn confident rather than ranting on social media like a spineless worm. You must either believe in law atleast if not anything. If you don't believe in law too, I think there is "term" for such people. Anyway it's not your fault , it's your karma, and it will catch up soon. Hope you see light soon.
I also had a same problem , I also used to make up stories in my mind and later I started following Sadhguru and Vivekananda and started doing some yoga and meditation and it's slowly changing.

Count me in too🙈..from a liberal muslim to an atheist to realizing the true essence of our indian culture.. realizing what a blunder my ancestors made by leaving the culture of their own land to something foreign just for the money or may be to be in close proximity to power houses in those times i can't say exactly why, bt i feel if u can't respect ur own land n it's culture u can't claim to be loyal to anything else in life.. I'm still a muslim on papers i wish i could change that too😭 bt if i do that I'll be thrown out frm the society/be killed..I did inner engineering secretly without telling anyone in my family but the worst thing is i can't even chant OM at home so can't even think of practicing shambhavi idk what to do so i go out in the park for walk n chant om namah shivaya n bhramananda swaropaa to satisfy myself coz i got no other option 😭.. Ireally wish one day i could sing my favourite bhajans infront of my ishta devtha shiva n express my love towards him🙏
Our surname makes no difference. All we need to change is the way we approach life. :)

Hi...I'm also from kolkata.I could relate to whatever you said growing up in kolkata felt to you as I've also had the same experience in my childhood days...Now it's been 12 years I'm staying outside of West Bengal...Things are not the same now...

If this is still working for some, then I hope they keep at it, just stay aware in case that changes. I will say, the price tag you pay to attend in person is more than most Americans make in a Year. I'm glad that the full course is technically affordable online, but you would see 10 times more attendance if the price tag was reduced to 1 third of the current price.
I have some experience planning group retreats, and in terms of the needed cost for running, I could manage it easily at 5% of the current cost per person.
HOWEVER, I do acknowledge that much of that "extra" money goes into charity works, like bringing water to needy villages, or funding soil restoration and other conservation efforts.
I don't think that charity money should be funded through a forced price tag, it's bad energy, and we have seen better numbers happen through voluntary donations.
I fear The Isha Foundation may see new students, members and volunteers drop off gradually over time unless something is done about where they get their money, and how they manage it.

Thankfully, my eyes opened in time seeing how leftists’ walk doesn’t match the talk and it was not too late for me to return to the Hindu faith. Hello! If you don't mind I would like to know about this thing which she said in the starting of the video. I am also a Bengali but outside of Bengal. I have never heard or faced any such ridicule for my own religion. On the other hand we are very proud of our culture, religion, spirituality and every such thing. Once I visited Kolkata there an old uncle ridiculed me because I was not from Bengal and I had this teeka on my forehead (I had visited the temples there). I was a child back then I could not understand anything.

I was inspired by my friend whom i found very happy inspite of being hit by virus.He did inner engineering previous year . My friend got well in 4-5 days and currentley he is helping others by donating his plasma.
Exactly my story. As if my own life being narrated. Let me admit I was a very bitter person as an atheist. The only joy I would take from was ridiculing other people’s faith including my friends and family members. From outside I used act like super confident and being clear about everything but deep down I used feel extremely hollow. Sadhguru videos really challenged my thought process logically. That’s where it clicked. I was like wait a minute, this guy makes sense.
Don't get me wrong but being atheist was the reason I became interested in Sadhguru after watching him but one thing very straight and clear that I never ridiculed my Bhaaratiya culture I was always the counterpart of 'liberal' guys but gods and all were not my forte but I respected our sciences eg Ayurveda thanks to Late Sh. Rajiv Dixit Ji.
Exactly, i was like that too, felt as if all are wasting time praying & doing this and that related to spirituality .. but now getting the senses .. and now meditations is a daily practice and i can understand why all these things were designed to keep masses in senses ..

This was so much inspiring. Rightly said, a book or videos can only inspire you but can't transform you. I have joined online inner engineering program. I have just gone through two sessions and I feel a lot of troubles are not anymore in my life and there is clarity of mind for everything that I do. I am trying to get time for my next Inner Engineering session and I feel blessed that I have found Sadhguru during my B.Tech and my life now seems much more beautiful than ever.

There is no such thing as Shambhavi mahamudra initiation online.
The inner enginnering online is a preparatory program for the Shambhavi mahamudra initiation.
Inner enginnering online will be having set of videos where Sadhguru talks on various aspects of spirituality and sets the mind in the right direction for spirituality.
Then after that Shambhavi mahamudra initiation will be there during inner enginnering completion program.
That is a direct transmission from Sadhguru, it's not like online/offline.
It's one-one transmission of certain energy in the seed form from the guru to the disciple, it used to happen both in sadhgurus physical presence or absence before.
But now this year it's not possible in sadhgurus physical presence because of constraints due to pandemic, so the initiation takes place without his physical presence but the same used to happen before also when initiation were given at local centers.
But sadhgurus spiritual presence will always be there anyway during the initiation, only the instructions for the preparatory steps, asana, pranayama, AUM chanting, and Shambhavi mudra will be given via online broadcast during the completion program till pandemic situation will be over I guess.
@Priyaanka Usually IEO completion will be a inperson program. you will have to go to a local centre where this program is happening or to the ashram. Once Sadhguru during the weekly darshan told that initiation of shambavi mahamudra is being planned to be done online but no more deatils revealed yet. 😊🙏

I realized the same 10 years back as I used to work in Kolkata and my parents used to live in Burdwan....but fortunately Ramakrishna mission is there....i got their company books meditation and lot more things...it was like oxygen started flowing in my life...it changed my way of looking towards life but couldn't share with my fellow friends relatives and parents....they thought I am not going to stay at home and will leave everything...you know we are the product of a hotchpotch thought process cultured by Islam era British era post independence Congress era ended with communist era....hope you understand....and before you and me many of our seniors faced the same problem and got light from this spiritual organization like RKM , Brahma Kumaris, ISKCON and Isha foundation...thank you best of luck.

It's common in indian family, they really don't care about your mental health but they care for you as much they can but only problem is that they assume us like him , it's little problem , and inner engineering is best thing i did with my life, sadhguru is awesome and he gives me so much just i m changed person after that program!❤️
Everything u said I can literally relate to u in every way possible.i also have toxic friend and family so I mostly stay with my self watching some animes and science fiction movies . How I became atheist didn't gave a damn about anything any religion I was really into science stuff then got into psychological stuff but nothing intreaged me anymore not happy from inside after a long time when I first saw sadgurus vedio I was like this I what I have been searching whole my life for but still there r some point when my scientifically logical brain takes over and questions some of the sadgurus points but I mostly agree with his sayings and when ever I listen his vedios I genuinely feel happy and blessed out from inside, no form of disagreement, jealousy, hatred judgement ,compression just makes me happy with my self. Hey I want to be with ppl like u I hope I can get a partner/friend like u in my life who have this deep understanding of life, now u r like a enlightened being , I can see u happy within ur self

I did my inner engineering in 2017 and I lost 15 kilos in just 2 months & that is only by doing shambhavi
My whole office was shocked to see my physical changes
Later they started teasing me calling me 'Sadhguru' fan and one fine day I told them this
"You think I am crazy because I can sit peacefully for 21 minutes and be just blissed out, tumhe na to subah uthne Ka hosh na hi khane Ka...aur na hi time se sone Ka...you crib about everything and bitch about everyone. The problem is you want others to change but when it comes to you...you resist to change because it takes more work to change yourself and zero effort in judging others"

It's the story of most of the urban youth and now increasingly rural as well. When a culture is in survival mode for centuries, rituals and activities get detached from reason.
I can so relate to you!!! Although you are much younger than me... Life seems to be same in Kolkata and the Bengalis even now. It's good to see that Kolkata has got a center and people, no matter how small a number it is... Are opening up! May the divine bless you. Hopefully we meet one day in the ashram 🙏

@Avinash K good and bad are 2 sides of the same coin.Now what you percieve to be what is entirely upon you. But health and wellness is achievable despite that all this and something that lasts. Our intelligence as humans allows us to choose the good from someone and reject the bad.He explains that stop hearing from people that are constantly generating poison and fear among people and try things for yourself.

something very similar has happened in my life as well in UK, I stayed in IYC ashram for close to six months as long term volunteer in IT department as Software Tester under Krishna Anna and Radha akka, left in March 2020 after completing Samyama program (which I ended up doing unexpectedly 😃) feeling blessed 😊 to have Sadhguru in my life...

I have heard similar comments... And I hadn't even done Inner Engineering.. Just RUclips videos.. I felt little conscious and awkward for some time about it... People call you alien, brainwashed, supernaturally powerful in a bad way and some other shit.. But can't ignore the truth of those videos.. So now I don't let it bother me when friends and family act weird because of how I behave

Akka samething happened with me . Now I have also lost my friends and my father use to say what are doing every morning when i use do my Aum meditation on daily basis
but now he doesn't say anything.Akka now,everything have transformed after just doing inner engineering online. i have not gone through sambhavi initiation due to lockdown NAMASKARAM AKKA🙏🙏🙏
