Still a great trilogy of films. Curse started it, Chest continued it, and End wrapped everything up in a nice bow. Jack entered in a dingy and ended in a dingy. Perfect bookmarks.
Like in Revenge of the Sith, Will had the same tragic ending as Anakin, being separated from his loved ones. But also like Return of the Jedi, this is the true end of the POTC Saga
Bill Turner: "One day ashore, ten years at sea. It's a steep price for what's been done today." Will Turner: "Depends on the one day." It's bittersweet but he's not forever separated. He has his father with him and can see Elizabeth and Henry once every ten years and it's not about the time, but what's done with it. (I'm not counting DMTNT as canon because it has too many retcons that break the lore)
two legendary ships blasting cannons to each other, swinging swords of pirates, intense waves, and intense plot made at worlds end one of the most beloved part of the trilogy. i have to admit the battle between the pearl and dutchman was a real show of naval firepower in PotC universe.
I like to think that they are so evenly matched that even the ships themselves engaged each other in melee combat as if I remember right, their sails do colide
1:16 Watching the film for the first time in many years, and I LOVE how that section catches you off guard - the same buildup was used in DMC, and crescendoed with the DMC theme - but here it just swings around and goes right into the Up is Down theme instead. Really makes it feel special.
For me this was the best of the franchise and should’ve ended after this. All three built it up very well and you felt the story building to something. Didn’t mind the other two but the first three had something to them. Plus the big battle between the two ships trust me being in the cinema watching it was mesmerising.
Opere magistralmente uniche al mondo. Sinfonie storiche. Musiche geniali. Mente geniali. Badelt e Zimmer due compositori assolutamente unici e insuperabili. Arrangiamenti e orchestrazioni immensamente profonde. Strumenti, archi, violini, accordi e arpeggi magicamente indescrivibili. -A.Maglione

The third sequel of a franchise (in movies) have usually turned out to be the greatest of their franchise, you can see this in POTC 3, Star Wars 3 and Avengers 3(I just don't think Endgame was enough).
Literally had the end credits theme to show that this was the last one. Why did Disney have to think that they had to continue? This was the perfect trilogy, as 4 and 5 legit ruin the whole franchise.
@@EvoDevo2004 plus davy jones coming back, who the hell knows how, and for no reason. Makes it either the ultimate cliffhanger for POTC, or means that there has to be another movie that makes no sense, AKA, modern disney movies.
Disney just want to print money without putting any money into creative thinking, because MCU has taught them you don't have to have any kind of imaginative storytelling to attract huge audiences
Deam men tell no tales and on stranger tides arent potc movies if you ask me, yes their pirate films, but they are not the same, and do not live up to the 3 movies that come before it. The franchise ended at the end of the trioligy, enough said
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is my favorite movie.
Mine too ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Same. Don't care what critics say I love these films.
Me too⛵
Same
The first 3 are fantastic, 4 and 5 are still pretty good but don’t have that Gore Verbinski magic.

At worlds end is definitely the best one without doubt
Ah, an opinion. Nice, mate!
At Worlds End is still to this day, the most cinematic movie of all time. Hard to believe it was somehow made in 2007, the CGI especially.
Hanz Zimmer is a freaking genius.

Don't worry, Jack will find Angelica or whoever else.

I agree, I hate the last movie
the third had to be the last
I saw on stranger tides first. So this is how I thought the correct order would be: OST, COTBP, DMC, AWE then DMTNT lol
@@Vipernon23 just watch till the third Lol
This was also ending of my childhood, good times...
Ugh!!! This film is so underrated. Fight me. 😏
Why fight the truth? I'll join ye crew matey💪😂

I love the trilogy directed by Verbinski.
