I just forked out $12,000 to replace the 18-year-old septic field that was built with "the latest technology" of the time , and was totally filled in. The minor county official Karen who had made permitting a nightmare had just been royally reamed in public session, so things went a lot better than they could have.
We had to pay $10,000 for the new system that was put in. My husband and I were going to pay half the bill and my MIL was going to pay the rest. We or my MIL never got a bill for it, and the plumber didn't even come back to fill in the dirt to cover up the system. After three months still no bill, and the plumber was bad mouthing my MIL all over town calling her all sorts of awful names. We finilly got a hold of the guys daughter who sends out bills. He never turned in the system that he even did work on our property. She finally sent us a bill for$7000 she was horrified how her dad forgot to tell her that he put in a skeptic system on our farm and bad mouthed my MIL to everyone he came across. It was then she realized he was starting to get a little dementia and her brother took over as owner.
My dad was a master mechanic until he retired. He had more tools then you’d imagine existed. Impacts, sockets, compressor, bar stock cutter, mill, lathe, and every little specialty tool possible. Actually multiples of most of them too. If you needed a tool for any car he had three of them. He even invented a few, and GM paid him for their patents. He had a professional car lift in his barn too. This didn’t include the toolboxes, and tools he had at work. At the GM providing grounds.
that's the one thing that some people can't get through their thick ass skulls and that is that if you buy a house and no hoa exists if they start and hoa you do not have to join the hoa you do not have to pay the fines from the hoa and you do not have to abide by the rules of the hoa
Tool truck story. If you have a good tool man you better appreciate him. Some of them (very few but i have delt with a couple over my 45 years of wrenching) like to think that you need to be thankful they are even there. While i was always thankful, he needs me as much or more. Years ago there was no internet so your tool purchase was very limited. Most Non professionals (not all) bought Craftsman USA made and professionals bought Snap On, Matco or Mac. Although Proto was another good brand but depending on location you was limited on availability.
Cigarette soaked vocal cords of an older man screwed over by a younger gal: "Moose...go get your unicorn!!!" OMG...I would pay money to see a video (or even photo) of young gal's face when Moose defiled the unicorn in front of her. FOFLMAO
Story 1, so he lost a reliable tool guy just because he was to proud to apologize? OP probably would've gone back after the apology, assuming it was sincere.
Lol, I would show up at my ex work on the days those trucks were due in. I bought tools for me and my ex, as well as other family and friends. Plus, I got vip passes for Nascar events and races for waaaaaayyyyyy cheaper 😂
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) has to be treated carefully. A few years ago, I received a notice from the US Navy that PII cannot be faxed. (does anyone still have a fax machine?) About the tool guy. I never personally dealt with one, but we needed a dial-type torque wrench with 2 dials, and Snapon came through. We had to measure the torque needed to release a nut, and the nut was located In a place where we could see the bottom of the torque wrench but not the top.
As a mechanic a good tool guy is hard to come by. I’ve had everything from a-hole to yeah I can get it (not will). So it’s a great deal when you get one who caters to us and does their best for us and is fast with tool repairs and service. As a guy that has spent almost a house on tools over 30+ years a great tool man will always be in demand and is great when you get one. Thanks to all the good tool pushers out there for your hard work.
First story, not a mechanic myself but I know how expensive quality tools cost. At my current job,all tools are supplied by the company. Each tech that works on the company trucks and trailers has his or her own box. Each box is a different color and the tools are also that color.
Oh my gosh‼️ 🤭 Moose go get your unicorn ⁉️😂.. Not all the way into its fluffy soul🤣‼️ Of course the poor thing is looking Haggard. It's been exposed to things no unicorn should be🤭😂. I'm making so much noise.. Thank God there's no one else around ‼️🤣🤣 And what did she say when she witnessed this performance by moose ⁉️ I NEED to know. 😂🤣
Regarding the video title: The last story is the most relevant, but still did not reflect the title. No HOA, and the septic was NEAR the OP's land, but not ON it. Downvoted for misleading title. (I hate click-bait and false advertising.)
Moose, go get your unicorn! rotflmao
This comment was the one visible while watching the beginning. I was wondering what you were talking about, then I heard the story.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Dude... Same 😂😂
Yeah. The OP was a pretty good writer. I got a very good sight picture of the proceedings!
That poor unicorn.
Last one, not Karen, just protecting property rights. The HOA requests were overbearing and rightfully denied. They were the Karen’s.
