How to COOL Room Without AC

  • Easy Hack at home to keep a room cool. Bowl of ICE in front of a Fan Aiming towards the area where heat can escape. As the ICE melts, the cool water will fan out in the room. Keep the windows and curtain closed to fully feel the effects.

    You can also use frozen water bottles. You can refreeze them when they melt, and soon later you will have cold air again without wasting water

    If you would put it behind your fan and have some type of tubing going from your bowl to the back of the fan and make your room a lot more cooler. That's what we used to do growing up would use aluminum foil to make a tube like structure and then put it over the bowl of water ice and then put it up against the fan and it sucks all the cold air out of it

    This will work if you sit right in front of it. Obviously, it will not cool a room. I would also use less water and would add salt to the water, essentially making the ice colder.

    I am from Iraq, and my room is on the second floor, and I have the same fan as yours, only without a ceiling fan. I will try this method tomorrow, if it succeeds, I swear to God that I will be grateful to you for the rest of my life. ❤😂

      If your desperate you can hang foil in the windows to reflect the sun light. It does help

      If you have a cloth curtain you can dip the curtain in water for 5 mins and then keep in the fridge for 1 hour and hang it back on the windom it will be like A/C

      Wet your hair or a towel or your clothes. If it's dark colour it doesn't show as much that it's wet. Also peppermint oil gives a super cooling effect on skin! Try it. And I've heard this about henne too, but I haven't tried it.

      @@Imhim293 found a simple trick, fill a bowl with ice and grab a clean rag, soak it and wring out the water, then leave it on the ice. Whenever you feel hot, wipe yourself down and feel cool.

    If you use terracotta bowls of water and frozen water bottles instead of ice cubes then you can reuse the water bottles and not lose it to evaporation. The Terra cotta cools the air quicker.

    Even better is getting 3 yeti bottles and filling it with a tiny bit of water all 5 cubes of ice each the ice and water will stay cold for hours. I can put cold ice water in for one day and still have cold water the next 2 days

    Let me tell you before you try, this doesn't work as you would like to. The fan will spread slightly cooler air but that's all, it definitely won't lower room's temperature I have tried with frozen water bottles. For a few minutes it's ok but nothing more

      Yes. keep the window closed if its warmer outside. curtains closed as sunlight warms the room. Aim the Fan towards then door where the heat can escape and keep that door open a small amount. keep re filling ice. Not as effective as real AC but if you leave the room and come back in, it should be noticabley cooler. Its harder upstairs as heat rises. Hope this helps

      Put some ice on the ceiling and your good 👍 bad joke.. tbh ceiling fans are really good, just keep the windows open to let the breeze in but cover the sunlight as that'll warm up the room easily when its really hot.
