Yeah, but that was a very atypical day for Nebraska on Oct. 5th. I don't remember many days warmer than even 80 degrees in Oct. in Nebraska. Let alone 96 degrees
This man is one of the best defensive coaches in America- in some areas, THE best- and to say that Nebraska has one of the top 5 interior lines in the country is saying something. Greg did admit he would not question the call of the refs whether a touchdown in this Nebraska Game - and I'm sure Washington Huskies Coach questions in his Mind the call giving RU the ball after a blocked Field Goal before halftime - and a couple other calls - a game of inches effected by a couple of calls. I had heard Nebraska was on the rebound - not sure if a Freshman QB but heard Nebraska does have depth - and Nebraska is Nebraska although past years not so good. But credit Rutgers Players for staying in this game which may have a future game bounce a different way
This was an even game. Except NU D line was a better at forcing their will on Rutgers run game. Then pass rushed, bull rushed Rutgers in second half. Good coaching on both sides. Home field advantage goes to Huskers and the win. Coach Schiano is doing a great job with his team again this year. Good luck to them.
