Puisque certains FRANÇAIS ne semblent toujours pas comprendre en 2022…….
Ça fait 30 ans que Lara a cet accent. Elle est musicienne et parle 4 langues, donc son accent change en fonction de la personne à qui elle parle/dependemment de où elle vit. Ça s’appelle S’ADAPTER. C’est un phénomène qui se produit pour la plupart des gens qui ont l’oreille musicale et sont polyglottes, dont moi même.
Les québécois aiment le fait que Lara adopte leur accent quand elle est au Québec, alors pourquoi cela pose t-il problème aux FRANÇAIS quand ça ne vous (nous, je suis moi même française) concerne pas ? 🙂

Il faut répéter aussi à ces français ignorants et incultes que Lara n'est PAS française ! Elle est canadienne et belge, et rappeler également bien sûr que la famille de sa mère est sicilienne.
Sans doute ces orchidoclastes ignorent-ils que la langue française n'est pas uniquement parlée en France ?
Bref, ce ne sont pas des gens sains qui la critiquent, sans doute en partie des nostalgiques de Gaccio et des nuls, après que ce triste personnage avait réussi son putsch sur les guignols 😕

Oh, these French people, it's just ridiculous😒. It's funny my favorite actress Gillian Anderson has also always been criticized for speaking in England with an English accent and in the US with an american one. She was born in Chicago, but lived in London for many years as a child and she also says her accent changes depending on who she is talking to at the moment. Many people seem to have a problem with it.

She is massively underrated and deserves so much more recognition. Personally her performances are superior to celine dion, the emotion is unrivalled by anyone else. What a voice. Adagio...heartbreaking 👌😢

Thank you so much for this show. I appreciate what you did here for our dearest, Lara Fabian. I was smiling when Benoit McGinnis and you saying why he was there with you. I also became truly moved when he and Lara sang "Je 'Taime"...really well done. Later on when her dearest friend Nicholas Fata stepped in, I could not hold back my tears while thinking how Lara must have felt at that moment. I mean this was someone she had given up on, and then to meet him again after 30+ years. Thank you for having done this for her. May you and everyone who helped organise this for her be forever blest.
To Lara I want to say: For everything you have gone through in your life time, it was and still is worth it. Stay the strong and wise women that I have come to know even I have never met you. Your humility, the main factor in my view, is what hit home in everytime I set eyes on any one of your music videos. Only a truly humble person can do what you do ̶ perform with such intense but relevant emotions pertaining to the story being sung/told. Sincerity comes with humility. These are all reasons why people love you so much.
On another channel that was all about your autobiography/cookbook, what struck me was the answers you gave to the questions asked, and my comment about that was that your answers reflect directly on your personal life and your love for what you do and that you (always) emit to those around you. Your answers also reflect the truth about you and your struggles, your work - your entire life experiences. I also said that you are a delight for the eye and the ear. You are really stunningly beautiful, both from the outside and from within. I am sure that your student must respect, love and treasure you. You are so blessed to have people doing a show like this for you and you deserve all of it.
Lastly, I want to say this: Whenever you, Lara, sing a song or engage in a talk show like this one, it is like you are placing your heart inside of me. It's like I can feel your every emotion. I pray that you remain the person that I, that the world has come to know.
I love you, Lara Fabian, for you are so very special. May whatever the future holds for you be blessed.

oooh, elle est tellement mignonne, c'est une femme simple et alors......avec son accent ...elle est a croquer. E n France , je trouve qu'on ne la voit pas assez souvent, mais je peux la comprendre car dés ses débuts, la presse et les "fameux" critiques musicaux l'ont martyrisé, ils n'ont jamais été tendres avec elle, j'ai honte pour eux , mais perso, je la trouve tellement incroyable, et ouverte aux gens, elle a le coeur sur la main. C'est une belle personne.
Les médias français toujours fidèle à eux-mêmes...pitoyable...Ils ne valent même pas son petit doigt.

Well done both! And when Nicolas came on stage it was Lara 'losing it'! What a moment! How wonderful they have reunited. Then the big reunion at the end... how Lara kept singing I have no idea. What a great moment. Great work by the presenter and whole production crew. The band were terrific also. 😍👋👋👋

C'est quand même normal quand on y repense au niveau de sa nationalité qu'elle est de double nationalité Belge et Canadienne, dont le Canada (En particulier le Québec) a été la place qu'elle a décidée d'appeler sa maison à cause du côté familial de la culture Québécoise dont nous ne laissons personnes être maltraités quiconque que ce soit, même si c'est du monde que l'on connaît pas!

C’est tellement ridicule de se prendre la tête sur des détails aussi triviaux. Pour moi c’est une chanteuse d’un talent hors du commun,la seule qui est capable de me faire pleurer peut importe la langue ou l’accent . Et non, n’en déplaise à certains, elle est francophone et non française. Les dictionnaires peuvent être utiles pour comprendre le différence 😉

Quand elle demeure plus longtemps au Québec son accent revient naturellement. Et quand elle retoune elle doit faire attention pour etre certaine d' etre comprise et reprendre son accent français. Moi ca me derange pas. C'est mon avis
