The deck had some very strong cards in it but the mulliganing decisions and the gameplay against control and aggro decks is what really stood out to me as being excellent. Awesome video. Thank you for uploading.
How do you draft a deck that wins every single way imaginable? Lethal attackers, Mill them, Second Suns Win, Jace Win, Valuing away your opponents will to live win... This was just fun to watch. This deck should just be called "I Win"
This draft is the first thing in a long time that’s made me want to install Arena again. Masterful plays like these I’ll probably not get, but Kenji gave me the itch!
This deck really show cased your deck building skills. You had sooo many playables that you had to cut card draw and counters in mono-U, this was insane.
At 1:16:40 you were concerned they would kill Jace in response to the ultimate ability but you didn't have to worry. Gatherer says "If your library has fewer than seven cards in it while resolving Jace’s last ability, and Jace has already left the battlefield, you’ll draw as many cards as you can and then win the game before state-based actions would cause you to lose the game for trying to draw from an empty library." Edit: I just did some digging in the rules and you only lose the game the next time a player would receive priority which means the loyalty ability resolves completely before the game checks to see if you lose.
@@NumotTheNummyYT I would absolutely love to come and watch you live but even trying to stream 460 on twitch caused major problems with where i moved too.
29:50 isn't it better to cast Heartless Act to remove the counters on Giant Killer and then block it with Myr and block the Phoenix with Thryx? That way you shouldn't lose any of your creatures. Am I missing something?
Heartless act removes three counters, so giant killer is a 2/3 and eats the myr. I still would have done that, but it's not a strictly better decision.
Hey Nummy, if you see this, are cheap blue creatures just not worth bothering with? You talked about how you're worried about early game aggro a couple times over the last few drafts, but you don't really seem to spare much thought for like Brineborn, Spectral Sailor or... like even Augur. This seems to me like the deck they'd belong in, if any, but I play a lot of red decks on account of I'm not very good at Magic.
Sweet deck. At 54:00, was there a reason why you didn’t Approach first, then draw 7? You’d still hold up heartless act, and I’d have to imagine that was enough to survive.
When will WotC learn, that cards that give card AND mana advantage are just too strong. New premier examples are Key to the archives and Discover the formula
Arena Cube? Discover the Formula in the thumbnail? I click. (edit: meanwhile im currently down 0-2 because of back to back games of T3 Tutelage on the play and T3 Ashiok on the play. WOTC, stop putting god forsaken mill cards in 40 card cubes)

That second-to-last game's ending felt SO FRIGGIN' GOOD. Sheer insanity, well done, Mr. Kenji Sir!
💪
Such a pleasure to watch. You are very good at narrating the game and making sick plays!!
Mono Blue (ish) that had to cut Mulldrifter and several counters because it had too many playables
Thats a helluva draft Nummy
Making Thyrxx into a counter spell was such a play. Thanks for the vod!

Quite possibly a huge troll of a deck. Sick draft, Nummy.
A deck worthy of the Mythic God Gamer. This has to be the best one you've drafted on the Arena, yeah? Fantastic stuff.

You know it's a good day when Baral's Expertise tables
That's the face we all make when casting that card. 9 outta 10.
The thryx in response to the counter spell made me all giddy
You have a lot of awesome runs but man this draft was something else. Amazing games and great content all around. Thanks.
Great draft and play. Thank you for an awesome video.
I love these cube videos so fun with so many win cons!
that thumbnail though
10/10
It's going to be hard to beat your deck from the decatholon finals. That was sick.
We would love to see the Decatholon
Should be live tomorrow morning!
You can check out his vods on twitch too.

In game 1, could he have bounced the Earthshaker with the command and EK's ability on the stack so the 4/5 could block?
it would still use last known info of earthshaker being 4 power - so no :(
@@NumotTheNummyYT Ah, good to know. Thanks.
"Overwhelming Value" should definitely be a Magic card.

This draft shows why blue is the most oppressive colour.
Ah man you know I love? Playing izzet. Should I play it in vow? YES! how vintage cube? Yes!! Yes!! God forbid you don't play blue! Ugh I know right
Anyone replaying this game from time to time? or is it just me haha

I can only hope that continues
What a fantastic video to watch
Thanks for watching!
