Although this pseudonym was used for a couple of other bands including Sam Lanin and Devine's Wisconsin Roof Orchestra, here we are hearing Adrian Schubert indeed, and he is briliant in this particularly catchy and colorful performance featuring a wealth of amazing solo work. Thank you so much for sharing yet another smashing performance!
Is that a tenor leading the saxes in the first chorus? If so, it contrasts nicely with the alto leaping in at 0:40 and then the section switching to sopranos! The writing for the saxes and then the brass soli is rhythmic. This is great. Thank you for sharing this one.
Another very well known and used or better say spoiled to, upbeat and highly syncopated orchestration work fromADRIAN SCHUBERT'S ORCHESTRA, a totally unknown tune for me, executed in a fabulous and disciplined uplifting tempo, and better of them all… INSTRUMENTAL VERSION which I crave more in this era recordings, despite the fabulous vocalists that graced those records through out the years… thank you for sharing. P.S. by the way it sounds very like 1927-28 to me…. Am I wrong?
Thank You! Yes it is June 6th 1927! Same as "I'M BLUE OVER TWO BLUE EYE'S" Hollywood Dance Orchestra (Adrian Schubert Orchestra) on Banner, I posted a while back, about a year ago - I think You will certainly enjoy that one as well!
Simply splendid!
Thank You Barbara!

Thank You for Your lovely comment! Adrian Schubert is indeed a favorite!
@@roybo1930 My pleasure! He is one of my favorite leaders too :-)
Very nice…representative of 1927 for sure…great band and arrangement.
Thank You so much! flip side "When Day Is Done" coming very soon!!
This record was well taken care of, because of little surface noise and the clarity of the orchestra. The tune is sweetly peppy.
