trying to look for an alternative to ngrok for minecraft hosting, the zrok creators state that currently there is no like tcp (i think) where only i need to do this for my friends to join, instead all my friends need this to join me
In my Zrok, it gets much lesser speed than Ngrok and after a while hoster page can't be found. I think it might have some timeout issue. Do you have any suggestions for these problems?
@LIMONITELIMON Fisrt of all speed is somting that is very relavent to a lot of situation and I am continuously using it but not faced a timeout issue, I hope it may be caseing if you are uing proxy server or any other tings in your network (I don't know your case). But still now I have not face this issue after intence using.
I have tried to create a reserved port, but once I shut down a reserved port I couldn't open it again, please explain how can I open the same port again?
@somnathdas8922 To reopen the same port again using Zrok, you typically need to run the zrok share command with the specific port you wish to share. If you're looking to use the exact same configuration, including the same public URL or tunnel settings, you might need to check if Zrok supports reserved subdomains or persistent configurations through their CLI or config files. For step-by-step instructions tailored to your specific use case, referring directly to Zrok's documentation.
@Nobisuke The documentation on zrok does not explicitly mention limits on the number of connections a single instance can host simultaneously. However, it outlines the platform's ability to enable multiple environments under a single account, allowing you to run zrok share in one environment and zrok access in others. This suggests that zrok is designed to manage multiple connections, especially when sharing resources both publicly and privately. For specific details on connection limits, if any, reviewing the platform's technical specifications.
@DigitalArtJourney Well that depend on a couple of things, To adjust or check the default timeout settings, you would typically look in the configuration file for Zrok, where parameters like timeout, idle_timeout, or connection_timeout may be available. I hope that will help you to get your answare,
Great Sir... : ) It works good.. But after a while this problem has to be faced... ERROR zrok/endpoints/proxy.newReverseProxy.func2: error proxying: context canceled
@fire_aag There may be 3 or 4 aspect i will come one by one 1. If the error actually causing by zrok or the application that you are using with it is triggering that error. 2. Is the app is functioning ormally after the error if yes the process as that is not casing any problem to you 3. Are you using any proxy server if yes stop that 4. Upgrade the version and check you are getting the same error.
Great video... I tried zrok to be able to see my Emby server outside my local network because remote acess don't work my ISP is behind cgnat. The url provide from zrok is taking me right for my server but its only working on the browser, when i try to add the url from zrok into the Emby app doesn't work and don't find my server... Please help me.
@AlphaDeFcOn4 It sounds like Zrok is successfully routing traffic to your Emby server when accessed via a browser, but there might be some issues with how the URL is handled in the Emby app. Here are some potential steps to resolve this. 1. Check the URL Formatting: Ensure that the Zrok URL is formatted correctly when entering it into the Emby app. Some apps may have issues with custom or non-standard URLs. Try using both HTTP and HTTPS URLs provided by Zrok to see if one of them works better with the Emby app. 2. Port and Protocol : The Emby app might require the specific protocol and port (e.g., your-url:8096 or your-url:8920) to be explicitly mentioned. Check if the Emby app allows you to manually specify the port. 3. SSL/HTTPS Configuration : Check this out to. 4. Check the Network Settings in the Emby App. 5. Zrok Session Timeout or Stability : Sometimes, Zrok sessions can time out or become unstable. Ensure that the Zrok tunnel remains active and stable during your connection attempt from the Emby app
Your channel is underrated. I have shared channel in my community. Hope to see subscribers increasing soon.
Thanks for sharing!!
Creating a static end point is a plus, ngrok ask money for that feature.
best wishes to the zrok team i hope people support them and other free ones aswell
MashaAllah, this video is very nice! Thank you for sharing such wonderful content. Keep it up!
nice video, but could you work on the audio quality next time, I could barely hear you.

A little more time can be spent on removing parts of the video which shouldn't have been recorded would take your content to next level.

How long can my clients access my server?

Do I need to configure my own server for zrock
No, don't need to that. Just follow the step I have shown and that will do the job.
Are you dense? That would defeat the whole purpose of this...
The server is ues form zrock itself not anyone won server. I hope you have the points clear now.
@@code-180 Godzilla got a stroke trying to read that..
