Too much time for research and RUclips makes for an expensive setup. Love that this tank is based on a budget and will keep following your journey! Hoping to get going in Jan!
Thank you so much for this! I just cycled my first ever saltwater tank and added 2 clowns and 5 hermits. The clowns seem to like the water flow better now that I've watched this and changed it. I want to keep them happy 😊
Thanks for this video, I just put one in my 4 foot cichlid tank hoping to help get debris to go towards the filter inlet, I have mine pointing down and at the opposite end to the intake. after watching this I will have a play with it and see if I can make mine better. The fish seem to love the flow of the water.
So cool to have found your channel, we're kind of on the same journey! I'm a freshwater fishkeeper that started reef tanks, so I brought a some of that over and started my first tank on a canister filter as well. It's going great so far! I'll be following along.
Thank you so much for this!! I'm thinking of buying a wavemaker for my 185cm fish tank and I wanna make a pretty big wave but I have no idea which size of wavemaker I should buy. Do you have any idea???
Hi..your Video presentation is Excellent. Why the Wave Maker suction cap is unable to stick on the Fish tank glass panel permanently? It dropped down to the tank gravel every few days! How to fix it ?
i have a 60 gallon tank. In it are, Tetras., 2 angel fish, 2 blue gouramis, 2 geophagus brasilliens, 3 rosaline barbs and 1 severum. Will one maker be too stressful for my tank?
Very interesting. I recall an earlier video where one of your corals didn’t like the flow. So I guess it’s important to set up the flow first then carefully place the coral in an area they are most suited to. Keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you! 😊 yes definitely 👌 that was definitely a learning curve for me in the beginning, trying to figure out just how low “low” flow was etc. etc. but got a better idea now 😊👏
I have my tank filter on the left side of my tank. I only have one wave maker. So, do I need to position the wave maker on the same side as the filter?
Okay, thanks. Will the wave maker stress out my fishes? I have a 24 gallon tank.My fishes isn’t swimming around as much. Since I installed the wave maker.I run my wave maker 24/7 I only turn it off when Im feeding them.
I’d say as long as you can get some movement on the furnace with something else then I think you’d be ok, depends on what you’re keeping in it too coral wise 😊
My wave maker won't stop losing its suction 😭 I have a sand star and a few conches that bury themselves in the sand and since it keeps falling it messes up the sand and wakes them up. I've cleaned the glass I dont know what to do
I’ve started having the same problems with these wave makers in a saltwater tank. I’m going to replace them with magnetic wavemakers when I can. You can usually buy replacement suction caps too if you wanted to do it that way.

How do you know if your fish like it or not, how would they act?
Does it connect straight to the PowerPoint? Do you have a link for the product? I hope you get a commission for any sales :)

@@SimpleAquariumsLauren I just started my first salt water tank. How would I know if the flow is too much for my corals?
@@jaclynconstanza1924 because your corals won’t open up and will eventually die
Simple drawing but totally explained gas exchange / Tank flow
Thank you!! 😁🙌
I will buy one thanks✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾🤜🤛👁️👃👁️

I have my tank filter on the left side of my tank. I only have one wave maker. So, do I need to position the wave maker on the same side as the filter?
I would 😊 it’s usually best to put the wave makers on same side as your filter intake 😊

What sort of fish do you have? (Some fish like it more than others) Sometimes it takes a bit of getting used to 😊
@@SimpleAquariumsLauren I have two White skirt Tetra, two black skirt Tetra and six Neon tetra.
Ok cool depending on how strong your wave makers is they should adjust to it 😊😊
Make video about your fish tank sump system
That's a huge tank.
Is it ok to keep a marine tank without a wave maker?
I’d say as long as you can get some movement on the furnace with something else then I think you’d be ok, depends on what you’re keeping in it too coral wise 😊
I love water agitation but I’m also a bit worried of removing to much co2 for my plants…balancing act….
Good video but you should place video with you infront of the tank doing diagram but lovely tank though👍
Have started doing this from now on hehe thank you for the feedback! 😊😊

Can we give Epsom salt treatment for marine fish
I wouldn’t, I don’t know if it helps in a saltwater tank. 🤔

Some cute boy needs to buy you a protein skimmer
Does a wave maker give them oxygen
If it’s pointed towards the surface and creates ripples on the surface, then yes it will 😊😊
