RIP to the GOAT, it always made me feel like the prime minister getting a daily briefing. It was so impactful, made everything feel like it mattered.
That sums it up beautifully.
This one is so much better than the new song. I get it, 90 years they need to be nostalgic but this just sounds so much better.

They went back to their roots with their old theme from 1986-2005

The ABC has by far the best music and graphics (scroller, etc) that I've seen on any news Chanel, so modern, love it.

The theme and graphics of this age just give a more serious news like tone and unique identity compared to the new one. ABC BRING IT BACK PLEASE THE NEW THEME SHOULD OF STAYED IN THE 80s 😢

Great news theme authoritative, catchy and modern, while still having elements of ABC themes of old.
This feels much better for a serious news timeslot. I always found the remastered 1986 theme tinny and underdone. This feels more complete in a way. I also believe it was changed because of the similarities in the SBS news theme, but for now it’s completely up to speculation.
Believe it or not but this inspired me to make music.

I know this comment is weird, but Obama is my greatest hero and I was so inspired by him growing up as a young man. I always feel like Obama in a state meeting with Israel's president and a middle eastern state leader when listening to this theme.
