Hi @christinawhy. Genie offers a universal wall control that should work with your operator. Just do a Google search for Genie Universal Wireless Wall Console GUWWC and you should find it. If not then check the Home Depot website as I believe they sell it.
Will my wired wall mount remote opener work along with the wireless remote? In other words can I use both wired/wireless? My wired remote has the light only switch and a lock along with the opener. The wireless does not. Using my wired wall mount opener, in the closed position when I press the open button the garage door will bump up like it’s going up but does not. So I have to hit the button again as if telling the garage door to close. It will click and then I can hit the button again (to open) and it will open fully. I was thinking the wireless opener would fix this issue?
Yes, the wired wall station and wireless wall station will work together. Do you have the issue you describe when you use your remote control? The wireless wall station is just like adding another remote to your operator so if you don't have the problem with your remote then you won't experience it with the wireless wall station.
If you have a newer Synergy garage door opener there's an LED screen on the back of the operator that will show error codes. Check and see if it's showing any error codes when you try opening the garage door. If there are then you can check what they mean in the operator manual. If there are no error codes then it could be something like a loose wire. Check the wires from the wall station that are inserted in the operator and make sure they are secure and one isn't partially inserted & falling out or loose.
@@Garagedoorzone I have the M4700. I changed the original wire from the wall mount to the opener. I read that it could be a break/open in the wire. I still have the opening issue after changing the wire.
The 4700 will have 8 red lights on it which will indicate errors if there are any. Depending on which of the lights are lit will indicate what the error is and will correspond with the error codes found in the back of the operator manual.
Are there any other brands that make a product like this? I have Genie and their wireless garage consoles only work with newer garage motor systems.

@@Garagedoorzone yes I do have the issue using my car remote. It’s more random than not.
