This one had me going cross-eyed for a bit. It's an optical illusion I think.
Beautiful design. Thank you Tracy. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you! You too!
As all of your lessons are so beautiful! Very delicate and so easy to follow with you. I love your lessons, your choices of patterns. Love the variations of the same patterns. We are so lucky to have you share your beautiful artistry with us! Thank you 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you Linda!❤️
Like many others, I get so much from watching your lessons. Your style of teaching is wonderful (too bad there are not more teachers like you in schools, but that is a digression for another space), clear, and encouraging. The patterns are well chosen and you make them doable. Thank you for doing these tutorials.
Thank you for your lovely comments Ellen. I taught children in primary schools for over 30 years. Now that I have retired, I have taken up creating art tutorials online. I suppose teaching must be in my blood! 👩🏻🎓💕

0:24 all the tools you need
1:17 Start of the rectangle tile, sketch
6:58 brown fine line on noodle and circle in the background
8:42 black shading
11:24 White charcoal shinning effect on tips
17:36 Start of the square tile, sketch
23:23 fix a black block with white gelly pen

This is my favourite type of pattern which is usually used when I had no idea what pattern to put. I love the shade with black and highlight with white charcoal, as well as to blend them up and join together naturally!!!! 👍
Thank you!
Heel mooi!
Thank you Lisette!

I think i cud do dis😊❤
you can do it! have fun!
You do beautiful work! I particularly love the book marks. How do I preserve the charcoal when using the book mark? Thanks!
I would recommend some sort of fixative.
I use: Micador for Artists - Fixative workable Matt - clear, permanent protection for pastel, charcoal, chalk and pencil work.
You sound so much like Peta Hewit!!
It’s just the Australian accent!
What do you do with this after taking so much time and do much details to create this masterpiece!!!
I use the bookmarks but I also have a drawer full of tiles from video demonstrations.
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
