Hey I just bought a 1528 on TradeMe for $154 New Zealand dollars! Didn't know it was a 1987 model - that's really cool. Looking forward to picking it up this week ;) Sounds great here and I think mellower than the 1868. Which do you prefer? Nice playing by the way ;) And thanks for posting this video. +Saundersm1 Thanks for your comment. I love Ovation guiatrs. Roundback guitars have a Unique style. At this point I think 1868 is better. Of course 1528 sound is good mellow and softly. The shallow body is small but 1868 sound has high power and straitness. Next I will posting for caompair with Mic and Ovation preamp . I will use 1868, 1768(op-24) and cc-057 (op-30). Have a nice day
@@gunnylee6086 hi from nz, i found my 1528 on marketplace in tauranga 5 months ago, easy to play because the shape of the v neck, i only wish i had got one 30 yrs ago, i play through an old 640 jansen cab,12 inc spk,i fitted a 15r vox amp into the back , sounds great, the 1528 is Korean
