"the one who comes home with the most money doesn't win, but the one who comes home with the most experiences wins" well that's going to be my new motto 😀
Steve gabbling on about there being no local cuisine in Amboise (which he seems to think is in Paris. Why? I thought he was the local expert?) couldn't be more wrong; the Loire Valley has plenty of regional delicacies, from its river fish and its goat's cheeses, through to Sologne lamb, andouillette sausages, local beef cooked in Chinon wine, rillons, rillettes, tarte tatin, and yes even foie gras. And that's mainly just stuff from the Touraine; I don't know too much about the rest of the region's food, but I'm sure there's lots to choose from.
the hotel ground and rooms are nice. We had the tasting menu at the restaurant, it lasted almost 4 hours. I would order from a la carte menu next time. We almost fell asleep. nonetheless, we enjoyed staying at the chateau.
Thanks Mr. Rick for a good video. All your videos make me really want to travel around Eroupe.
the last scene is very beautiful!
😍😍 This is. exactly How travel videos Should be.
I only had foie gras once and it was amazing!
beautiful video. thanks. from KSA

I wholeheartedly agree with the statement that the meal will be a lifelong memory. What's a little extra money for something like that?
Enjoy!! Jealous me! :) "He who comes home with the most experiences wins" - love that motto!
