This 1957 Chevy is beautiful. So refreshing to see a real restoration vs some ad hoc hot rod makeover. Restoring a beautiful classic is simply awesome.
Back in the day my uncle and my cousin had this car. It is identical. The 57 will always be the gold standard in design.
The exhaust exits at the perfect spot on this car. Well thought out looks great.
My dad had one exactly like this with the same color. It had a pair of OEM AM antennas on the back that were at a 45 degree angle. Very beautiful and kind of rare color. I would put this in my living room it’s so pretty!!
When Made in the USA really meant something. What a beauty. And great video too
I love this car. Its probably my favorite car of all time. One day maybe, I'll get my hands on one.
Nick Rowland Same man, local dealer had one for 27k; but i was out of town for the week and it sold.
Mine too
My first car was a '57 BelAir.......great memories!
Me too. A black one
She's a beautiful classic car. Have always been a fan of classic cars
We had the same one with four doors in the sixties in France ! It was a great car, and so amazing in France !
I love to old cars fixed up like that .283 was a damn good engine
Beautiful car...I will get a '57 someday
Tony Amarillas have u gotten it yet
@@spjulyer3124 of course not😀
I bought one in 1967 for $250.00,four years later my sister wrecked it,the right rear quarter panel was bashed in,but it still was driveable, the insurance co.totaled it as it would have cost more to repair than it was worth,I bought another car and sold the '57 for $75.00
My husband had a 1964 Belair Star car and I love it so much, but he let it sit in the rain and snow and it rusted out on floor and top. How I wish we could have afforded to restore her.
This was made in 1957 and still looks better than today's cars. The car is around 70 years old.
I am older than this car and it looks better than I do,a friend of our family bought one of these brand new and he took us for a ride in it and I can certainly say these cars had a lot.of get up and go,and they rode real good very smooth ride.
My Dad bought a 57 Chev 210 four door in this color ( Dusk Pearl & Imperial Ivory) 283, Powerglide ,TT Paint, heater and defroster. What a car. Dad got offers from kids in the neighborhood to buy it when he went to buy a new Chev in 62.
Fantastic! Nicely equipped and the right color too! None better!
Wow, that color is one of a kind
I always wanted a 1957 chevy...
Just Beautiful... 👍
The very last paint job I did at home was a '57 Chev 4 door, this same color. Total price; $9.98.( Napa Auto Parts, Burien, WA). Yikes, things have changed. :---))))))))))))))
This car is exactly like my father in law's car when I met my future wife. Same color and opts. It was also the first car my wife ever drove before she got her own VW Beetle. I had a '57 210 2-door post sedan with a 283 4-bbl. light metallic blue. I put a Corvette kit in mine- solid lifters and a Corvette cam- and was really into drag racing. In two years I only lost one race. Wish I had that car back today.
My Parents had a four door 57 this color, we just called it pink.
Of all the cars I rode in, or, owned, the 57 Chevy 2dr is one I most remember, it was 1957, and, I was just 6 years old when a Lady picked Mom and me up in a new 57 Bel Air to go to Sunday School, it was new, I even remember the smell!!
That's my dream car. Wanted one for years!!!!
Adoro a originalidade, parabéns!
Love seeing the stock cars

I love your comment...and sweet Marilyn Monroe! : )
Steven. I love YOUR 57Chevy I want to buy IT. I REALLY MEAN IT.
Wow I want this car so bad !
Neighbor of mine has a Dusk Rose '57 Bel Air 4 door sedan. Even in that livery, it looks so freaking good!
That is what my Grandpa had bought it brand new. I was 6 when he got it!
My parents had one exactly like this. They bought it brand new in 1957, and traded it in 1960 for a ‘60 Impala. The color was actually called Canyon Coral.
love my 1957 Chevy Belair.
Love the colour on that. sweet as.
Beautiful ❤️
My father had one like this. My mother called the color”mashed mulberry “.
They dont make cars like this anymore
My dream car
My grandpa had a 4 dr this same color.
Step father had one same car it was beautiful best car in 57
The wiring is sweet
The trunk look sweet
love it
How rare is it to find these all-original, or at least; original (oem spec)? If I ever found one, I don't want the mods; I want it like it was off the assembly line... I have a lot of nostalgia for the mid - late 50's, even though I was born in the 90's. Just truly a wonderful masterpiece of American engineering.
This is mine and the wife car of choice,I guess that is because we were born in 1957 and an affordable one does not exist!!!!!!My grandfather had one of these his was white and baby or powder blue, 283 auto!!!!!!! Oh and yes it was a two door!!!!!!My uncle got it!
Sweet
Beautiful
My mom has had one for 18 years
i love this car so much! i'm probably late is it still for sale?? i'm looking at this type of car for my first car haha
This car has already been parked in someone else’s driveway but keep an eye on our website and RUclips channel because we have new inventory coming in every day!
The steering wheel is sweet
The truck is sweet
the color is Dusk Pearl, not Dusk Rose...I use to own a 57 Nomad this color
What is it with '57? Cars were so beautyful back then
Yes,the 1957 Chevrolets are beautiful and you think it would have outsold the 1958 models but it didn't, the 1958 models outsold the 1957 models because in 1957 the U.S. economy went into a recession and didn't start coming out of recession until October 1957,by that time the 1958 models were out,or at least this is what an article i read stated.
WOW.............
OK-Just to be a know-it-all: That pink-color in '57 was called "Dusk Pearl" not "Dusk Rose." Dusk Rose was a '56 color that was basically purple. That is one beautiful '57
We didnt know that! Thanks for the heads up!
HA! To add to the confusion--Looks like FORD had a pink-color in '57 that they called Dusk Rose. Just found this out-so I'll have to check some more on it to be sure.
Wish somebody present this car to me..
Tip to tail is sweet
I have a question what year did Chevy start using double headlights for the bel air?
I believe that started in the third generation in 1958.
need..want..
Sold
I have still one in the garage of another ?!?!?!?
Loves these cars. Never cared for the dash tho
I loved even the dash, but it is metal and if you hit your head on it in a crash you could get a fatal skull fracture.
That trunk is a trunk to beat all trunks
Sexy as car.
How much does this car go for ?
I wouldn't say the tires and wheels are awesome I'd say sweet
I had one identical, not as clean. sold it when I got drafted in 1966, I had to leave, guy never paid me for it
Its weird how technological inferior these cars are compare to today, yet look like they cost 5 times as much to make compared to a lets say 2019 Chevy Malibu
Yes,they are inferior in technology, I had a 1957 Chevy I bought for $250.00 dollars in 1967,I loved the car,but it had the drum brakes on it,when you drove though any standing water after a heavy rainfall, you simply didn't have any brakes until you could pump the brakes hard and fast and get the water out of the brake drums,if you ever buy one of these cars and it has drum brakes on it spend some money and switch it over to modern disc brakes, you will save yourself a heart attack.
Sounds like a couple Gen( Zombies) talking!!! I'll wager their favorite colours is the 🌈🤔🤨🧐😝🤪
you could of a least started the dam thing !!!!!!!!
