It makes sense if you think of pretty much all Zektbach material that was ever released as "promotional" material testing the waters for the full establishment of the IP, which ended up never taking place. Ristaccia, I would assume, did well enough that Masinowa was properly expanded ; but then, everything went downhill.
I remember making an AMV with this song and Umineko about 12 years ago or so. Too bad I didn't save the files :( Felt pretty natural being an akiko shikata song :)

I still find it weird how this song is in the Ristaccia soundtrack, despite the song's story depicting the character of the Masinowa soundtrack.
