You are so sweet! I am smiling but I might also be muttering some not so nice words under my breath about the litterbugs, lol! I mean WHO leaves that kind of junk behind?! Ugh. I will never understand some people.
Great show guys! Thank you! My wife made a comment that made me laugh and wanted to share. You lowered your voice discussing the area you were in when there is no one around. Well I do the same lol! LoLoHo!
Let's not overlook one thing that makes your (both of you) videos so appealing ... besides your remarkable content ... is the video editing. Not only do you take me to places I may never visit on my own but you do it in such a compelling way that I subscribe, support and never miss a video. Thank You!
I rarely comment but the pure hilarity of your acerbic wit absolutely reinvigorated my now arthritic funny bone! Still laughing out loud! The water, the coach, the sweatshirt etc...What an enjoyable 90 minutes (with hunt and peck typing in pitch black included)...I got it!
It was nice seeing Moab, Utah and the Goblins. Those were nice. Funny how later sone of those will change and sone won’t. That was weird that sign said bother in jaw instead of brother- in- law. Not to bad of an area for camping. Not too many people were camping there. Sad how sone campers don’t think of others when camping when they leave a mess. Or leave trash. It’s just sad. Hope you both have a great night and week and see you soon! Safe travels.
I have to agree. One who litters should be penalized with loss of privileges to camp on these BLM & other park areas. Not to penalize to 'law abiding' folks who respect the land & the regulations. Several commentaries by a number of full-timers have been put up on vids this campin' season, for which I applaud loudly. And it's ok to report the violators of said regs. Thanks again for addressing this important issue. Though I'm not a full-time RVer, I am a camper who values folks doing the right thing, as y'all are. Thanx, from the Silver Conestoga Wagon driver.
You say something without saying it and you do it so well! LMAO. 🤣Thanks for another fantastic video!Goblin Valley is on our list for our next trip to UT.
Living nearby in Grand Junction, CO, we frequent that area in the spring and fall. We love the Moab area and Goblin valley. And we love your videos! You might mention that one needs to plan one's gas stops in that neck of the woods. You can go some long stretches without services.
You are so right about cans and can lids. I would like to point out that the cigarette butts would have been dumped in after the fire as they are not charred. This also not acceptable behavior. However, if flicked into a fire the butts will burn down to ash just like the wood from my experience as a over 25 year smoker. Thank you for all you do.
Sean and Kristy, great video as always. And I truly appreciate your comments about laws against littering and enforcing those laws. I am so tired of having to pay for the sins of a few when I am not among said few. I am proud of these United States but we have to get back to ENFORCEMENT of the laws. Littering is against the law but we continue to allow it to exist because it is too "hard" to enforce and seemingly not worth the time of county and state prosecutors. We are losing too much in the way of campgrounds, dispersed and otherwise, to the poor actions of a few.
Love the idea of let’s change the culture around litter. I do wonder how to best foster that. I mostly believe that you can come create the culture you want through the reward system. When I am out in nature the reward is the natural beauty and it’s so disturbing to find someone else has no regard for that natural beauty and feels entitled to just leave their trash. I don’t ever wanna lose the right to visit all of these beautiful locations so we also try to leave any spot we camp a little better than we found it. Thank you for sharing all your adventures.
We stayed up the road off the Interstate at Ballard RV Park. Full hookups, big sites, and very quiet at night. Cost was $166 a week! For Moab area this is a great deal. Drove into Moab each day and even kayaked the Colorado river for 12 miles back down into Moab. Utah is our favorite state right in front of Idaho.
Wow, thanks for the tip about Ballard, much cheaper and much less crowded than the parks in Moab, will definitely try to stay when we finally get to take our trip to the area!
We had such fun wandering around in Goblin Valley! We tried to line up some of the film locations from Galaxy Quest. We probably didn't but we "never surrendered, never gave up!" Ha! I greatly enjoy your videos. You and Kristi are the only RVers we watch anymore. We full time in our RV as our retirement dream. Your videos are fun, beautiful, informative, real, and always entertaining. 👍😍
My high school basketball coach wasn’t as tall. Thanks for the thinly vailed adult humor Sean. Always makes me laugh. My favorite was the faucet hardware.
We visited Goblin Valley State Park last summer I’m afraid we didn’t see the beauty that you saw in the goblins but it was quiet and had a very nice campground. I must say it is definitely in the middle of nowhere I felt more isolated at Goblin than I did on backroads in Alaska. It’s good to see you out on the road again.
Purchase a "skimmer" in the kitchen section of a hardware store. They are great for sifting the garbage out of fire pits and they retail for under $3. They also make great kitty litter scoops. I have always been a litter picker upper but you inspired me to clean fire pits! I really enjoy your videos.
Don't forget to swing by Little Wild Horse Canyon on your way out of Goblin Valley S.P. The rock walls are sculpted and beautiful. They have that "narrows" feel in some areas. Just before entering Goblin Valley State Park, turn west onto the dirt road and follow it to the signed trailhead. There are two nice slot canyons there that make a loop-Little Wild Horse Canyon (3.3 mi) and Bell Canyon (about 8 mi for the entire loop). If you arrive at Goblin Valley S.P. early, you can play peek a boo around the hoodoos for about 2 hours, eat lunch at the beautiful picnic pavilion at the park then leave and head over to Little Wild Horse Canyon and hike the slot canyon all in one afternoon!
Never give up, never surrender! Sorry, having a flashback to watching a movie filmed in Goblin Valley. My wife and I wanted out of town for a little while so we left the Wasatch Front behind and spent a few days in Moab. I thought I saw us behind you in a shot but upon looking closer the man looks older than me. My kids and grandkids would claim there is no one older than me, but there are a few. Thank you for what seems to be a good, balanced, honest look at some of what Southern Utah has to offer for those willing to get out of town a little ways.
I can’t believe I drove by there on way to Moab! Got to leave something for ‘next time’. Cheers to the best brew: Squatters Juicy IPA! Yum! See you out there!
We have visited Utah several times, and Goblin Valley State part is a must see area. We camped at a B.L.M. site that had a fire ring about every 70 feet, The area was a totally flat parking lot, and the sky vies was as you have described.

We also have a ton of dispersed camping close if you don't want to stay in the fishlake basin
