On top of all that: safety knives. We have to use them at work, they have a lever you pull to extend the blade out of the body. The safety mechanism is spring assisted - you engage the spring when you drag the knife through the object, when the pressure is gone, it instantly pulls the blade back into the body, even with the lever still pulled. Can't cut yourself, when the blade retracts itself once the cut is done
Totally agree Rachel! The worst I have ever cut myself was with a dull blade that was a sharp in one area than dull in another. Caused me to force the cut in the dull area then it got back to the sharp area and proceed to bite me! No good… but I survived! Great reminder.
If you've ever wondered what's safest, sharp blades or dull blades, here's your answer! I hope you find it helpful and thanks for watching.

Great use of self-retracting handles! I prefer them too. I've seen too many nasty cuts from utility knives.
