Royal Caribbean raised the age requirement for the Solarium from 16 to 18 years of age after this video was recorded.

We just finished an eight night southern Caribbean cruise on Adventure. This was the best cruise we have ever had. Jesse at the Schooner bar was magnificent.
Hot tubs in the Solarium were very hot. The shows were fantastic. This was our 10th RCL cruise. We have sailed on Celebrity, Carnival, and Norwegian. We will stay loyal to Royal.

We really enjoyed our cruise as well. We have sailed on carnival, Norwegian, Holland America and Royal. We almost only sail on Royal now, however they cant beat Holland’s destinations/ports. So, once every 5-10 Royal cruises we go on, we go on one Holland cruise. We stay loyal to Royal for the most part, however.

Enjoy. We are on Voyager of the Seas now, maybe we will pass by each other on the ocean. :-). Sorry for the delayed response, we have been having problems with RUclips not notifying us of new comments.

Great tour. Love the tongue in cheek. How did you film it with so few people around? Was it super early in the morning?

Thank you, and for the nice comment I'll tell you my secret. I wait until a sea day that has a big party the night before. Typically that is Day 2, which is after the sailway party. However, if there is a bigger party, due to a holiday, and the following day is a sea day, I'll do it then. After those parties, most people sleep in and I get up at sunrise to do the video. In other words, around 6 - 7ish.

After posting that video, I was lucky enough to be up there (on Voyager) with an officer and was blown away when he said they can pull out all the benches, lower the railings and lower the “flag” pole/mast thing down into the hull, all in under 10 minutes.

How are the cruises 🛳 in September?

Great. I go on cruises all year round and don't let the month stop me. The only risk of cruising during the "summer" months in the Caribbean is that it might rain the whole time. I've experienced that before. It's not the best, but generally I only go on larger ships during that time of the year. That way, if it rains, there are still things to do.

We booked this ship not realizing it is a smaller older ship 🥴 hopefully it’s still a good vaca!

It is smaller but not that small. I was a little worried also as I love the larger ships. However, I really enjoyed the ship. It’s got some amazing history. It was the first ship to sail into NY harbor after 9/11 and the first ship to sail after the Covid restrictions for cruises were lifted.
You will feel like you are on a larger ship when you are on the Royal Promenade.
Take a look at the “Let’s Cruise” videos on the Adventure, you will get a better feel for the size when it doesn’t look like I have the ship almost to myself, like it looks in the tour. :-)
      Have a great cruise!!!

It is. Did I mess up in the video?

I figured it out. This video was recorded before RC changed the age from 16 to 18. I'll pin a comment about the age change. Thank you!
