Crutch is a great (if older) song of Ren’s. Haunting and raw. I can’t decide which I love more: the money game smokey singing or the reggae flavored belt out from the heart singing at the end of Hi, Ren. He’s a bit of magic.
Crutch is insane. What an absolute gem. I think that was when Ren was almost at his worse health wise and he put it all there. That video to it as well. It hurts my soul that Ren had to suffer so much to give us the gold music he produces

It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and absolutely stunning. Also our boi sings with pure emotion.

How about (crucify your culture) he calls out the US Presidents, Coca cola, the twin towers, etc.. More descriptive and is calling out specific people and companies. Ren got some heat for this song when it came out. He has always hated corporate greed and politicians, he has digs about it in a lot of his music going back 8 yrs or so.
