All points are well explained and very valid. I have both. I only ride ride my OW at work to brouse the strip mall for lunch. OW is more practical for sub 5mph riding around walking pedestrian. Every other opportunity i have to ride i take the EUC. I took a 30 mile ride today. When im asked about the OW i explain, but i actually discourage interest in buying one. I promote the EUC'S even while riding the OW. Ha EUC'S have come so far. It's amazing what competition can do to advance a product.
A better comparison would be EUC vs Hyper Scooters or OW vs E skateboards, because if all i care about is speed, offroading, safety, etc ill just get a Talaria/Surron that can do it better. also wonder whos going to have the worst day when getting hit by a car at 20mph vs 55mph
Euc cannot replace the side stance feeling. One good thing about ow is you only need no more than 2. Euc you need 3: small, medium, large to get the full flavor, but...dono if this is actually a good thing about ow 😮
@@wvictor3024 it isn’t a good thing in long term hobby. No competition in onewheel so u see nothing in improvement or difference between them rather than larger battery and higher speed. Electric skateboard is served me well if I ever miss side stance feeling with more custom , more trick to learn , cheaper to build and repair.
basically agree with all of this. there is something about the onewheel that is nice for lazy cruising and carving, which I havent quite had with EUC yet. but all the reasons you gave outweighs this by a LOT
I've put about 500 miles on my Pint X so let me tell you the three main reasons it sucks: 1. Top speed is terrible - advertised 18 mph, really, pushback at 16. 2. The way it's built-- with a nose and tail sticking way out, good luck getting up or down any hills. 3. Power - with only 750 W (GT has more), I am so limited towards leaning forward/acceleration, which is actually dangerous. The reason I keep it is because (I am in college) I don't ride very far: 1. It is lighter. 2. You can stand on it while stopped. 3. It's a bit more maneuverable (maybe I'm wrong).
Good comparison. While the skateboard stance was initially cooler from an outside perspective, the performance you get from an EUC outweighs anything a onewheel can do. Plus you get more value for your money. I think if you could actually test drive these out before you buy, most would agree.
Different tools for different jobs. I have an AT electric board for speed and a Onewheel for cruising and carving fun. I'll be getting an EUC soon to fill the gap!
💯 man you know it Euc is the best PEV!! I had a onewheel and switched over to euc the best thing I ever done . More speed, way better range all kinds of different wheels to ride.
Nice video. Considering switching from ow xr to euc. Both illegal on the streets in my country anyways. Got 5k km on my ow xr in the past 5 years and love it
Wow this was awesomely goofy. A lot of this centered around Future Motion, the maker of Onewheels (capital o) but there's so many more and better options now. And they absolutely encourage modifications. There's people building onewheels with pneumatic tires for beach riding, everything you can think of. As far as lighting, I use a headlamp, easy peezy and better than a headlight since I can look around. For portability, I've never had a problem carrying any of my boards, and I own a Floatwheel, which is the heaviest onewheel around. It's 40 pounds which sucks to carry but is fine for short distances, which is all you need. And onewheels haven't nosedived from being overpowered for awhile now. They'll nosedive if power cuts off for whatever reason but so will an EUC. All that's just goofy arguments, but when you said "EUC's are more fun, it's a fact" you got me to click the downvote button. I'm no great EUC rider but I can get around and there's just no comparison for me, I'll take a onewheel any day. And your reasoning is telling: we really don't care about going 50 mph. Going 25 mph is more than I need. Anyway, enjoy your EUC! Maybe try to be more thoughtful in your videos though.
I ride EUCs (I also have an e-bike and an e-scooter) and I went on a group ride with several One-Wheels. I looked into the One-Wheel - saw the price, saw the speed and power, saw the range. There ain't no way I'd pay that much money for that little speed/power/range! Several times I've ridden my Sherman-S for 100km and finished with 20% (riding pretty quick)- 35% (more gentle speeds) battery remaining. I've exceeded 70kph (GPS) before getting beeps. I've ridden up the steepest street in the world - no problem! My Sherman-S is faster than my e-bike (1kw Bafang motor), but not as fast as my e-scooter (top speed of 110kph). I've put more than twice as much mileage on my EUC than both the e-bike and e-scooter combined, because it is just so much fun.
The EUC still gives the best WOW factor. People are just mesmerized. The EUC comes in all shapes and sizes, so fun for everyone. For slow riding the EUC is still better. It's so much easier riding up a curb, or dropping down. Riding down stairs isn't possible on the OneWheel, unless the steps are very small. etc The EUC handles very intuitive. Your toes are pointing forwards, so the stance is always natural. The EUC is a transformer. You can ride slow and go with the pedestrians. Pick up speed and go on the bike path. Or go fast on the road. Of course different people have different preferences, but it's a fact that the EUC is more useful.
EUC never shut down on me when I was riding, unlike onewheel, which just shuts down frequently by itself on normal riding that left me bruised and scrapes.
THANK YOU... I really appreciate your in-depth analysis of the EUC and the onewheel, as I am new to this arena and have been considering one over the other. Fantastic comparison, man! Keep up the good work!
I think you could expand in the safety category that EUCs just are more powerful machines which means safer rides for self balancing devices with regenerative breaking. For one because it leads to better breaking of course, but also they are much harder to overlean. The ease of which you can leverage the nose of a OW down is pretty crazy considering how small it's max output is, and you can easily over power the thing and get it to nosedive.
With a VESC onewheel, creativity and modifications are aOK and strongly supported With VESC only your intelligence is an obstacle for light, but yes, when a vehicle is only 35cm tall, that is also the tallest the light can sit, luckily onewheel owners have heads to put lights (unlike some other EV riders 😉) You don't need to carry a Onewheel since it is more than capable of riding in slow, slower then walking speed, without getting the "wobbles" like EUCs Kickstands are not needed in onewheels You can (if you have brains) fairly easy make a VESC onewheel, no problem ......but I definitely like there to be competition! Ever heard of floatwheel? (Vesc based onewheel) In my opinion it is more freeing feeling to carve on a Onewheel, i tried EUCs to FM warranty sux, I totally agree! Sending it in also totally sux, especially if you are in another continent then the Americas Well, we have chairs to, but do you really need to stretch out during a ride, that sounds like an uncomfortable ride to me 🤷🏼♂️ I bet I can ride through more offroad and mud then you 😂 My vesc rides 33-34 mph If you build a VESC onewheel, it is around half the price of a Onewheel GT Mine rides around 40km on a charge Have you seen the video of the guy drinking a beer, and shortly there after smashing his face to the pavement? I'm glad I don't go at those speeds Sure if you keep push the limits of any self balancing vehicle you'll have a meeting with newtons 2nd law Well, if you plan a bit you deweight at passing roots, but I halfway agree with you there, there is aftermarket suspensions to put on a Onewheel, but yes not a bad point But you forgot the most important part, you look like a geek on an EUC and you look really cool when you are surfing over terrain on a "snowboard" there is no changing that you look goofy and at the very best ½way retarded If you want to go far and fast it is a no-brainer (like the riders) you should definitely go EUC, if you want to have fun go onewheel (and if you have half a brain, go for a VESC onewheel)
Imagine when you crash and unlike your rider error experiences . it’s actually the boards failure. How is it EUC riders don’t ride hard enough to overheat the technology like OW do all the time?
EUCs can ride fast enough that the wind moving past them air-cools it, if it has a heat sink, which many do. Also, EUCs have much larger motors (thanks in part to a larger wheel diameter). As long as you aren't using the entirety of an EUC's wattage at all times, then it is capable of staying pretty cool. The exception to that is when EUCs move up long, steep inclines at slow speeds during a hot day... Other than that, modern EUCs don't overheat much.
I’ve never ridden a one wheel but it does look like fun and I’d like to try, but I can’t see myself doing my daily commute on a busy urban road at such a low speed… the Euc is it for me but if I had cash to spare I’d buy a one wheel for sure..
I had the one wheel Gt , got rid of it because didn’t have enough power . Going up a slight grade at top speed would shut it down . I just got my first EUC a V14 adventure. Got to say can’t wait to get comfortable on it no lack of power on these beast
That's ok, we can't all be right 😉 I would have made an EUC vs. OW comparison video like all the rest, but there's just no comparison. So I decided to make it decidedly one-sided and highly opinionated.
I mean it's been a while, EUCs are soooo far advanced you can't even argue for onewheel unless you want a smaller low-powered device but even then it's less convenient because there is no trolly handle and the ranger per price and weight of onewheel is shit. Still, they are popular in US because FM is an american company and invested in influencer marketing and social meadia ads, a shit company too as they were forced to do a re-call they made a video conspiracy bating as if they are being canceled lol
I think my Onewheels are still some of the coolest toys of all time and my garage will prove that I will be a serious contender for the one that dies with a butt load of toys...LOL. I'm not saying they are better or worse than EUC's because they are completely different animals to me. I've tried a few EUC's standing and sitting and it kind of reminds me of skiing and snowboarding riding standing wise. I starting skiing well before snowboards and being a novice at best never felt natural to me. I bought a Burton directional when they first came out and busted my ass so many times it isn't funny. Eventually I found when tying both legs together I quickly got way better faster and didn't turn back for a long time. Then a buddy let me try his ski boards ( two fat bi-directionals) about 25yrs later and wholly crap what a lot of fun. I may have never snowboarded! BTW I hate poles. I think if we can stay open minded, we can find a new and different wave to ride every day even different ways. I'm really glad I lived long enough to own a Onewheel. I too think my next toy may be the T4. My body is pretty beat up so riding a little crotch rocket closer to the ground sounds like bunch fun. I might try standing as well.... The thing I like most about these toys is that they are crazy accessible fun. Seriously, I can't even get myself to the lake, the beach, or even to the mountains anymore. I find that the only real reason not to ride is because I'm too lazy. I'm spoiled and retired... I'm pretty happy! Keep on charging!
The EUC is not a skateboard. They are a lot easier to master so most won’t stick with the OW basically because they can’t figure it out. It take a substantial amount of skill to fully enjoy the OW. If you’re overweight the EUC will accommodate you better as the OW prefers a lighter person.
@@Corn8Bit I definitely have lol. I honestly just enjoy the stance more than anything because it feels a lot like a snowboard. It’s just my preference.
@@thomasbjerregaard1080 I’ve been a skater my whole life. The Onewheel is like a skateboard as far as unlimited trick potential. Although there are a few that are pushing the limits on EUCs, the tricks are more limited because of the obvious. EUCs don’t have large footpads and are not shaped like a skateboard. If you’re arguing that if a newbie gets on a Onewheel it’s easier for that person to get moving initially, I agree that the Onewheel is much easier at first especially if the intent is just to cruise and carve. What I meant by harder to master is all the tricks. You may still disagree, and that’s okay lol. No two are alike so no two experiences are either and I respect that. EUCs are super rad. They are just a different kind of rad than the Onewheel and tbh I hate that they are always compare. I used to snowboard and ski and those two were always compared. Why? They are completely different and both rad. Same thing here, yet I voluntarily joined the debate lol. I guess the jokes on me. Cheers! And be safe!
@@myrap8you I think we see it kinda similar, I don't really disagree with what you are saying, the reason I reacted the way i did was that it felt like an unfair (and unreasonable) attack on my beloved Onewheel Personally I'm also a skiier, ind i really like skiing, even tho snowboarding and onewheeling are allot more similar then skiing is to either But I grew up skiing, and have been skiing since age 6 or so (currently age 40).....
Yeah I’m a lifelong skateboarder and I still prefer EUC.. that bigger motor and battery doesn’t just mean more speed and range, it’s also a lot more torque holding you up.. OW’s are constantly dropping people..
Euc is Definitely more safe but heavy. Rach tool for a different terrain. Euc no snow or ice but onewheel can do it. The one bad is it can die randomly and you fly forward and get broken and really badly scraped up. Both this can happen. This was a guy at a festival which he was pro level skill and said he's done. That to just randomly turn off or stop was a nightmare for him.
What about foot positioning considering stance? Wouldn't the onewheel style stance give the rider more stability over bumps and rocks? If in committing on my thing and I'm going 20mph on a 10 mile ride I want to be as stable as possible. Is the ecu just as easy to stabilize on debris in roadways?
An EUC (especially suspension ones) very easily goes through rocks and debris no problem. I go up to 30 mph on my gravel driveway, and have gone through the "experts only" MTB trails at the MTB park. Onewheels can't go over a 1-inch rock in your path without risking serious injury. In short, EUCs are far more capable of safe off road riding.
Good point! lol... I can tell that they are trying hard to right their ship these days, especially with the EX30 and extreme releases. Thanks for the feedback 😊
You shouldn't get onewheel in the first place. What kind of logic people use when they decide that it is a good idea to purchase it? Of course EUC is way better and far more practical transportation.
Some of us talented writers enjoy challenges and don't want to look like a circus clown. It's obvious that the people that don't like one wheels lack the talent to write it appropriately. That's fine. I have nothing against one wheel or unicycle. But a unicycles of dork ride and we all know that
This is like comparing Green Tea with Black Tea, they both Tea however with different flavors and caffeine content. Different types of rides with different extreme risks. FM will need to iron many of their processes after their revenue capital plateau and their product stops being sexy. My 2Cents.
You are right that they are very different and hard to compare because they are two different beasts. We so often see OW owners make the switch to an EUC because they want more speed/power, and with that comes more potential safety margin. So comparison videos get made as a result since that is the typical natural progression of things. I think FM is unlikely to iron out their issues any time soon because they are rabidly protective of their intellectual property claims. Unfortunately, that comes off as hating their own customers/fans, whether that's true or not.
Nice! Great price on a previous-gen wheel with a good reputation. I almost ended up buying that wheel myself a while back but couldn't resist that 134v 🙂
OneWheels are fun and so are EUCs. Not everyone wants to go 50mph. This is like comparing apples to oranges. Why do you have to piss on someone else’s fun?

You lost me at “euc is better because you get more adrenaline”. Entirely misses the point of most onewheel riders: We don’t want adrenaline. We want “float”…. A chill, relaxed experience. We know EUC’s are better faster cheaper, more capable…. But we don’t care: we want to carve and float….
@@ucdwino Yeah fr, some people don't understand riding forward is just odd to some people. Also i'm not into riding OW for speed i do it for fun. If I want to get somewhere fast ill take something alittle more reliable and not able to kill me if it kicks off.
@@cyph2946 Its perspective. for people who are or have skateboarded in their life, going forward sideways is a natural stance and comfortable. I would look into an EUC, but cant get over the forward stance, to me it would feel awkward. I don't own either however, but in the market and trying to decide what to get. I don't need speed or long range, but i want to be able to cruise and go offroad and enjoy myself. my purchase will be purely recreational. im still leaning to OW right now as a former skater.
EUC for practical medium distance travel, and maybe a bit of fun (OW more fun for most). OW for fun and for short distance travel / sidewalk friendly-ish.
Yes, highly! Make no mistake, This video is extremely one-sided. But there's a reason for that: most of the things I said were based on facts and not opinions (yes, the fun factor could be argued by the onewheel crowd). I still have not yet met a single person who went from an EUC to a onewheel - only from Onewheel to EUC.
Future Motion is an absolutely garbage company that puts on full display everything wrong with modern American companies. That said, there is just something about the Onewheel that alternative EVs just cant match. Many companies selling alternatives have come and gone including those making everything from off-road electric skateboards to EUCs. Onewheels on the other hand have been around for a decade now and are only growing in popularity. I'd argue that Onwheels would be even bigger right now if not for (to your point) the poor behavior of the company that manufactures them. I personally ride a non-future motion vesc board because I won't support them anymore and I too enjoy having more power and being able to go faster. I may eventually get an EUC but honestly they dont seem as interesting to me. I know I'm not alone in feeling that way because EUCs have been around longer and like other PEVs they just haven't caught on the way OWs have. You are correct in calling Onewheels toys. They are toys but so are EUCs, dirt bikes, jet skis etc. Also, If you are serious about wanting people to try your sport you're probably better off pitching it as another fun PEV rather than a superior one.
I feel like this is like comparing apples to eggplant. Sure you can eat both, but they're in completely different categories. I love blasting trails on my OW, just as much as cruising on the streets. I use my EUC when i feel the need for speed, or if I'm trying to lazily commute somewhere. I know my OW isn't "fast" in comparison to EUC's but that's not the point. I'm a lifelong snowboarder, and the OW is the closest a person can get to that feeling without snow and a mountain. EUC's are a ton of fun, but they're a different kind of fun. I just feel like these comparisons are moot based on that reason alone.
'srry this video made me want to stay with my one wheel even more i cudnt image pulling a wagon behind me on a euc to do my shopping. or even bring a euc into most of my store around me they wud take up alot of space in the aisle of the store. plus then i got to push the over 100 pound thing around while trying to shop naaa throw my one wheeling into the cart an still have plenty of space for groceries
If you tried an EUC, you'd see why they are far more convenient in a store vs. throwing a (potentially dirty) OW in your cart to mix with your groceries. And EUCs don't take up a bunch of aisle space at all 🤣 I've owned both and the convenience factor difference is significant. But I understand why you'd have the desire to justify your purchase, nobody wants to be told they made a bad purchase. The good news is that you can do what I did and sell your OW to buy an EUC 😉

You my friend is the one that’s wrong for one simple reason. It’s the board stance. Skateboarding is cooler than roller blading, snowboarding is cooler than skiing, and Onewheel is way fucking cooler than EUC. If you could mod an EUC to comfortably ride in a board stance I might be on board. No pun intended
I hear that is a product that is under development from InMotion. There is definitely something "cooler looking" about riding in a sideways stance, but it's not ergonomic or as efficient as a forward-facing stance. The OneWheel is cool because of the sideways stance, but for serious high-speed commuting, safety dictates a forward-facing stance when going fast.
@@WheelGoodTime Lolz, serious high speed commuting? Sure, I'd prefer one over a scooter. I commute twenty miles in an Arcimoto FUV and giggle at the sight of EUC's in the bike lane and the fast lane. Never seen one on a SoCal freeway.
@@barnabasseadog7660 SoCal freeways never get above 20 mph anyway because of the traffic, so it's surprising that you haven't seen any there... Probably could even get a Onewheel to keep up in traffic there 😉
@@WheelGoodTime Seriously, you must watch news feed from LA's 405 freeway. Where I live in San Diego, everyone blows by you at 85+mph. Onewheelers don't have to get above 20mph to get juiced.
That's an interesting take 😃 the only thing that ever held me back on a OW was the physical limitations of the device. And that's why I made "the switch" 🫡
Never tried one. Surrons are pretty expensive but look real nice. People ask why EUC owners don't just get a motorcycle, and a big factor in that is the fun factor. The adrenaline rush associated with an EUC is unmatched by an ebike or e-motorcycle, despite them being potentially more capable and safer (due to having 2 wheels). Thanks for your feedback! 😊
I've ridden 5k miles on a OW, and 15k miles on several different EUCs. There's no comparison to be made. EUCs are better. Make the right choice. Your collarbones will thank you.
This is stupid (my own opinion). It's like comparing apples to oranges. Between EUC and OW, I'll choose neither. I'll take my "folder" bike with electric assist. Better for health, fun, and safety, but I don't go calling other people wrong. To each to his/her own. I'm sure when the next "version" of EUC or OW comes up, people are going start complaining about some of the (lesser) "positives" that are mentioned on this Video. But if I have to pick one between EUC and OW, I would probably choose an OW, but definitely not one made by FM. Why? it's because it's toy, and it's small and convenient enough to fit my truck of my converter. If I wanted transportation and speed, I would use a car or a motorcyle. This is like comparing air soft gun or paint ball gun to a "real" gun - you will get better values for your money, and look, it travels faster!
Fun fact and surf on land feeling Onewheel win, speed torque power range fun factEuC win. I own both and both win over me I will never sell my Onewheel or EUC ,both are good toys and super fun for me
First off we need to do something about the name EUC ok. We do not cycle a dam thing it is electric yes, but entirely works on a gyro, should be called gyrowheels. We dont juggle, or work in a circus. Second, the one wheel is a teeter tottor shitty toy that shall be forgotten about. Some strange reaon some people actually like this garbage, well they are in luck, inmotion has created a one wheel device soon to be released. The gyrowheel is better all day in every catagory, range, safety, portable, and customizable to our liking. Pedals, pads, and ferring options.
@WheelGoodTime they hired a 30 man team of engineers to work on the project. There is a video of the ceo riding it around. It looks larger than the one wheel branded device and apparently is very capable.
I'm sorry that you blacked the talent or perseverance to be a shredder on a one wheel. EUC's are more capable to a certain degree. But it's been proven over and over on these kind of pages that the guys that don't like one wheels are the ones that simply are not talented enough to master it.
Yep… I’ve had both. I would choose EUC all day every day over onewheel! Definitely agree with all of your assessments in the video. Onewheel is fun but not nearly as much as EUC. Onewheel is absolutely more of a toy whereas EUC is a legitimate alternate form of transportation that’s a blast to ride

As someone who owns 4 OWs and 3 EUCs, i completely agree. EUCs are so much better, i glide over speedbumps at 40mph wheel speed on my v13
You could afford the next v14/master pro 2/ex40 if you sold all those OWs 😉
I ride both and I agree that euc is better overall but I feel more relax and stress free when I ride Onewheel.
I've put about 500 miles on my Pint X so let me tell you the three main reasons it sucks:
The reason I keep it is because (I am in college) I don't ride very far:
1. It is lighter.
2. You can stand on it while stopped.
3. It's a bit more maneuverable (maybe I'm wrong).
P I nt... say no more
Perhaps lacking in skills and selection of the proper board is the wrong reason to judge a one wheel.
Soon you'll find the OW and eskate will be collecting dust 😉
💯 man you know it Euc is the best PEV!! I had a onewheel and switched over to euc the best thing I ever done . More speed, way better range all kinds of different wheels to ride.
Thank you for making such amazing videos comparison one wheel VS EUC I am here with you hundred percentNo questions to ask❤
These are the reason why I sold my one wheel plus and pint long time ago
Nice video. Considering switching from ow xr to euc. Both illegal on the streets in my country anyways. Got 5k km on my ow xr in the past 5 years and love it
I just like the surfing feeling of the onewheel, but maybe one day I'll try a euc
You won't regret it if you do try it 🙂
Wow this was awesomely goofy.
Snowboarders vs. Skiers
True... if all the other factors were the same other than stance, that is 😎
YO, This is legit!! I was on the onewheel buyers bandwagon but am not on EUC hunt!!
The EUC still gives the best WOW factor. People are just mesmerized.
The EUC comes in all shapes and sizes, so fun for everyone.
For slow riding the EUC is still better. It's so much easier riding up a curb, or dropping down. Riding down stairs isn't possible on the OneWheel, unless the steps are very small. etc
The EUC handles very intuitive. Your toes are pointing forwards, so the stance is always natural.
The EUC is a transformer. You can ride slow and go with the pedestrians. Pick up speed and go on the bike path. Or go fast on the road.
Of course different people have different preferences, but it's a fact that the EUC is more useful.
From what I have seen and experienced, onewheels get more "WOW" factor 🤷🏼♂️
Electric longboards come in 2nd and EUCs a nice 3rd place
Great video and agree on all points, but how did range not make it on the list? That would have been no 1 on my list.
Wow, you're right! That was one of the major factors that made me switch too! Well, too late to edit the video now lol 😆
With a VESC onewheel, creativity and modifications are aOK and strongly supported
With VESC only your intelligence is an obstacle for light, but yes, when a vehicle is only 35cm tall, that is also the tallest the light can sit, luckily onewheel owners have heads to put lights (unlike some other EV riders 😉)
You don't need to carry a Onewheel since it is more than capable of riding in slow, slower then walking speed, without getting the "wobbles" like EUCs
Kickstands are not needed in onewheels
You can (if you have brains) fairly easy make a VESC onewheel, no problem
......but I definitely like there to be competition!
Ever heard of floatwheel? (Vesc based onewheel)
In my opinion it is more freeing feeling to carve on a Onewheel, i tried EUCs to
FM warranty sux, I totally agree!
Sending it in also totally sux, especially if you are in another continent then the Americas
Well, we have chairs to, but do you really need to stretch out during a ride, that sounds like an uncomfortable ride to me 🤷🏼♂️
I bet I can ride through more offroad and mud then you 😂
My vesc rides 33-34 mph
If you build a VESC onewheel, it is around half the price of a Onewheel GT
Mine rides around 40km on a charge
Have you seen the video of the guy drinking a beer, and shortly there after smashing his face to the pavement? I'm glad I don't go at those speeds
Sure if you keep push the limits of any self balancing vehicle you'll have a meeting with newtons 2nd law
Well, if you plan a bit you deweight at passing roots, but I halfway agree with you there, there is aftermarket suspensions to put on a Onewheel, but yes not a bad point
But you forgot the most important part, you look like a geek on an EUC and you look really cool when you are surfing over terrain on a "snowboard" there is no changing that you look goofy and at the very best ½way retarded
If you want to go far and fast it is a no-brainer (like the riders) you should definitely go EUC, if you want to have fun go onewheel (and if you have half a brain, go for a VESC onewheel)
You're gonna love it!
eucs aren't better. you need both. they are very different and comparing them is just a silly endeavour.
You are right that they are very different, and EUCs are better in every possible metric 😎
As an avid EUC rider this video just made me appreciate my onewheel more.
That's ok, we can't all be right 😉 I would have made an EUC vs. OW comparison video like all the rest, but there's just no comparison. So I decided to make it decidedly one-sided and highly opinionated.
@@WheelGoodTime😂😂
I dislocated my shoulder on onewheel. I love my EUC.
Aint no way you've tried an euc.
@@Corn8Bit I definitely have lol. I honestly just enjoy the stance more than anything because it feels a lot like a snowboard. It’s just my preference.
As much as I prefer the Onewheel, I disagree, the Onewheel is easier to "master" and the EUC takes a bit more practice, and time to get good at
@@thomasbjerregaard1080 I’ve been a skater my whole life.
@@myrap8you I think we see it kinda similar, I don't really disagree with what you are saying, the reason I reacted the way i did was that it felt like an unfair (and unreasonable) attack on my beloved Onewheel
Personally I'm also a skiier, ind i really like skiing, even tho snowboarding and onewheeling are allot more similar then skiing is to either
But I grew up skiing, and have been skiing since age 6 or so (currently age 40).....
The only good thing about a One Wheel is a cooler name.
Yeah I’m a lifelong skateboarder and I still prefer EUC.. that bigger motor and battery doesn’t just mean more speed and range, it’s also a lot more torque holding you up.. OW’s are constantly dropping people..
I'm so glad I didn't buy a One wheel, I had a deposit down on one a while back and took back my deposit 😄
Smart move. I've heard about lots of people switching to EUC, but never have I once heard of an EUC owner switching to OW.
A lot of those boil down to competition. Competition spurs imagination and innovation.
Begode does not have a wonderful reputation 🤣 FM use better QC than Begode. Great video though.
Good point! lol... I can tell that they are trying hard to right their ship these days, especially with the EX30 and extreme releases. Thanks for the feedback 😊
Didn't FM take forever to admit the "ghosting" problem?
I have seen videos of FM very bad QC. It's all over RUclips, you cannot miss it.
You shouldn't get onewheel in the first place.
What kind of logic people use when they decide that it is a good idea to purchase it?
Of course EUC is way better and far more practical transportation.
That is true, but most don't hear about EUCs until after they buy a OW. That was the case for me, anyway 🤷
But green and black tea are the same plant, same leaf. Green tea leaves are heated and dried to cease oxidation. Black tea is fully oxidized first.
I like Snowboarding
Great video however I love my Onewheel and you will never change my mind on that 😅.
Give it time, you will come around to my way of thinking eventually 😉
Thanks for watching and for the feedback 😊
Ignorance is bliss
Your crazy if your still buying a ow in 2023 I just picked up a ex20s ht for 2200 on alienrides, so much better than a ow and cheaper 😂
Nice! Great price on a previous-gen wheel with a good reputation. I almost ended up buying that wheel myself a while back but couldn't resist that 134v 🙂
Yes, we are crazy, talented and have big balls. That's why we will stick with what is awesome for us. Have fun on your circus ride
I don't use either. I have a scooter.
But euc looks way cooler and you can do a ton more
OneWheels are fun and so are EUCs. Not everyone wants to go 50mph. This is like comparing apples to oranges. Why do you have to piss on someone else’s fun?
Because they are constantly compared to each other
@@WheelGoodTime who cares if they’re constantly compared to each other? This is like the comparison of skateboards to rollerblades. It’s a childish argument that teenagers make. How old are you?
158 people (and counting) disagree with your sentiment, so clearly I'm onto something. And clearly you care that they are compared to each other, or else you wouldn't be responding the way you are right now. Have a great day Christopher!
@@WheelGoodTime Wow, 158 people disagree with me! You’re really into something!
I don’t even have an euc, but I’ve owned every ow, and I can confirm euc’s are far more capable and fun. I can barely move on a dirt trail or sand, but I see these euc fellas flying by me regularly at the shore
Sounds like user error
No, it really doesn’t lol
I do like your one-sided perspective, and you are absolutely correct! Well done, great video!!!
EUC just don't look cool in my opinion and it's a board sport - so they are not the same thing at all.
To each his.her own. One day you'll come around ;) I used to see it the same way as you and eventually felt "the need for speed"!
I doubt it @@WheelGoodTime speed is not king however putting together 12' tire on VESC 40 + mph should ease that pain a bit. I really don't want to bail hard over 40mph anyway.
Yo this video is hilarious... every bad thing you said about the onewheel is so true...but thats also the reason why i ride it... Maybe i don't want to be safe riding like a square going super fast in a straight line dressed like im heading to a mad max convention...maybe i wanna ride all squirrelly over a rock or a root..most awesome single track trails btw will be 7 miles long i dont need to go 50 miles... also i have used fm warranty and it was flawless... I got my board back in 3 weeks...Fm has the best warranty for their boards..also if you want your battery replaced they have free shipping + labor + battery replacement for cheeeeeep......your "modification" is hilarious... Every other PEV beats OneWheels in practicality and safety, BUT...they feel like magic to ride so they still win.
Have you tried riding an EUC? now THAT'S magic 😍
Lol I love the EUC but just say you can’t rip the onewheel like the pros 😂

You lost me at “euc is better because you get more adrenaline”. Entirely misses the point of most onewheel riders: We don’t want adrenaline. We want “float”…. A chill, relaxed experience. We know EUC’s are better faster cheaper, more capable…. But we don’t care: we want to carve and float….
You can carve and float on an EUC too... But when you eventually do get bored, the EUC world is ready to welcome you with open arms 🙂
@@WheelGoodTime give me a euc you can ride sideways and I’m yours…
@@ucdwino Yeah fr, some people don't understand riding forward is just odd to some people. Also i'm not into riding OW for speed i do it for fun. If I want to get somewhere fast ill take something alittle more reliable and not able to kill me if it kicks off.
@@ucdwino you’re just riding forward sideways…
Or... Hear me out: EUC for all of it 🤠
I want to have both.
As long the EUC don’t catch fire.
Full body armor. :) but you could still break your neck or other parts of your body.
Biased
Yes, highly! Make no mistake, This video is extremely one-sided. But there's a reason for that: most of the things I said were based on facts and not opinions (yes, the fun factor could be argued by the onewheel crowd). I still have not yet met a single person who went from an EUC to a onewheel - only from Onewheel to EUC.
I like EUCs have more range. Dont HAVE to ride it like I stole it.
Bro forgot the Pint X and OW+
@@WheelGoodTime my one wheel doesnt go in the cart, it goes under the cart where most people put their soda.
@@WheelGoodTime I have no desire to go faster than 20 mph anyway which is why I haven’t gotten an electric long board yet

That's an interesting take 😃 the only thing that ever held me back on a OW was the physical limitations of the device. And that's why I made "the switch" 🫡
EUC can't carve. End of discussion
Since when? I carve literally every time on my EUC 🤣 What else ya got?

11 reasons to get an surron or equivalent
Never tried one. Surrons are pretty expensive but look real nice. People ask why EUC owners don't just get a motorcycle, and a big factor in that is the fun factor. The adrenaline rush associated with an EUC is unmatched by an ebike or e-motorcycle, despite them being potentially more capable and safer (due to having 2 wheels). Thanks for your feedback! 😊
Not great for city commuting. I take my EUC literally everywhere even inside my doctors office plus I like to eat burritos while on the move
Your opinion is wrong 🙃😉
Hilarious. Get outta here with that folder crap
Fun fact and surf on land feeling Onewheel win, speed torque power range fun factEuC win. I own both and both win over me I will never sell my Onewheel or EUC ,both are good toys and super fun for me
You forgot one thing: ghosting.
I sure did! Welp, too late to add that in there now. I falls under the #1 category, safety, but ghosting practically deserves a section of its own.
Dude forgot so many reasons to stay in your line❤
Imagine if a podcast existed that really fleshed this shit out instead of sucking off patrons
15 mph top speed is a toy
Funny I've hit 30
@@milesonewheelwinter awesome. 20 something plus is useful
I can't say I like the term gyrowheel but I guess it beats EUC 🤣 what have you heard about IM making something Onewheel-ish?
@WheelGoodTime they hired a 30 man team of engineers to work on the project. There is a video of the ceo riding it around. It looks larger than the one wheel branded device and apparently is very capable.
I'm sorry that you blacked the talent or perseverance to be a shredder on a one wheel. EUC's are more capable to a certain degree. But it's been proven over and over on these kind of pages that the guys that don't like one wheels are the ones that simply are not talented enough to master it.
