While I appreciate you advocating for tubeless, just know that I have years of experience in the motorcycle world with tubeless tires. I really appreciate the ease with which you can fix a flat on them. However, not all tubeless tires and rims are created equally. Both of them have to find a good fit or else you can have air burping out of a tire and then suddenly the tire comes off bead and you can have an accident that way. So they have to really machine the rim and have a designated tire that they know from thousands of miles of testing that it won’t burp out air.
@@jeffcutler3713 that's good insight. EUCs don't have many options in terms of what tires can be used, and tube options are even more limited. I don't know what the exact cause is of these tube blowouts - but until they get to the bottom of this issue, tubeless appears to be the best route to take. That is, as long as the rim can fit a tubeless tire on it without issue.
@@WheelGoodTimeAbsolutely. I just hope these companies spend the time testing rim and tire combinations to reduce air loss on tubeless systems. There are tire companies like Motoz that make great tubed tires, but are notorious for their tubeless tires losing air.
1000 fold YES! Bead locks and ‘Tubliss’ high pressure MX tire liners should be mandatory on all EUCs that travel over 20mph. Dual pressure tire monitoring and alarms are also recommended, regardless of current configuration. This would eliminate 90%+ of all blowout accident injuries and make riding on snow, sand and mud more safe.
I’ve ridden over 20,000 km tubeless over the last two years without any issues. With the ET MAX, you could have fitted the 90/90-14 Michelin City Extra or Michelin City Grip 2 tubeless and avoided that accident with the valve stem breaking off.
Sorry, don't think anyone can match the Leaperkim Sherman L. I know they're not in the same category, but out of all the euc's have own and ride, Sherman L is the best in the market.
Wheels have a quick evolution time don't they? About the valve-stem blowouts - one achilles heel I see about bicycle type tube tires in higher-speed EUCs that you can begin your ride, you could be at full pressure, but then pick up a minute shard of glass, causing a slow leak. Further into the ride, the tube can very slowly deflate just enough to cause the inner-tube to shift, shearing the stem, causing a blowout, and crashing. A way to combat this is to carry a tire pressure gauge. When you "check carve" and it feels mushy, (or your ride feels "too comfortable") stop and take a pressure reading. If your pressure dropped, even by a few PSI, look for a tiny glass shard in your tire. This may save you.

No thanks, The seat that serves as a handle for the trolley is too low. It is a wheel for small people. We tall people (2 meters) will not be able to take the wheel in trolley mode
For all those that contributed to the creation of this X-way wheel, I say a sincere thank you. And, I'm also reminded of this addage: Success has many parents, and failure is but an orphan.😊
To set record straight, the Blitz does have ride height ie.peds adjustment by removing the collar on the stanchions. 100-130mm claimed. Notice that tho BG owns the pads patent (in China atleast), it hasnt affected KS & IM. BG countersued LK when LK sued BG (or izit EB) for 'copying' their Sherm S. Obviously LK lost & BG won. On the Xway, lov the adjustable pads & built in seat. That neat & about time
My problem with begode right now is that they move too fast and don’t stand by their models. Adjustable suspension travel and adjustable pedal height are attractive features for me, but lynx still looks good.
Between the bigger heavier 4500W compared to the smaller lighter 4000W . . Would they both have roughly the same climbing ability gping up grades/inclines ? Both have the same off the line hard launch ?? .. Size wise, roughly What does each of these models compare best to ??
Size wise, it is most comparable to a lynx, master, and the Blitz. The 134 v version will not be mass produced and will only be available for special order, so honestly I don't think that one is going to get many sales. In terms of power, it is expected to have a bit more than a lynx. In terms of range, I would expect about 15% less than the Lynx. So for a full speed, high speed riding I would expect the x way to have about a 25 mile range, or up to 70-80 miles for low speed riding.
I guess that's 8 people that I know of (10 cases).. Not a good thing when people are coming out of the woodwork to report their own identical tube valve stem-related crash 😭
They are trying to make v18 up to speed but it's simply waay too late now. It's been delayed since August and the train is long gone by now, nobody needs a yet another lynx-clone. I suspect they will drop this part of the market altogether focusing on a smaller "civilian" models and e-scooters.
What I dont like is Begood bringing out any few months a new wheel out, what happens if i got a crash after 2 years I will not getting any spare parts anymore -.-
You probably will be able to get the parts still since Begode gets all the parts from existing wheels and slaps them on another with a new motherboard and dub it a new wheel.

@@WheelGoodTime awesome! I want one. Well, another one anyways. Im still trying on a battle scarred AirwheelX3. I jusg dont see how some claim to have learned to ride in a couple of hours. Its nit as easy as it seems on youtube.
Lithium Iron batteries are very resistant to thermal runaway. Even when more volatile batteries were previously used, the rates of ‘spontaneous combustion’ were less than 1/10th the rate of battery fires among electric cars (when normalized for mileage driven). In fact ICE cars spontaneously combust at a rate that is 10x that of older EV cars… so actuarially, the insurance companies are deathly afraid that EUCs would come to dominate the PEV marketplace because premiums and profits would drop so precipitously. Literally, today’s battery tech (which is still on its primitive development phase) is TWO Orders of Magnitude safer to charge and ride that gas-hole powered vehicles. @@WheelGoodTime the thing that's annoying is air. Sealing bead out in the wild with hand pump is a joke with the punch line once you've used every ounce of energy you got then you have to walk hours. Hence the mousse and gell so at least I can ride to garage to burst shot of air that bead.

Ok I go tubeless
I just dont ride in traffic.
Is the X Way tubeless?
@@jonahlove7973 the preproduction ones are tubed, hopefully the batch 1 ones are tubeless.
@@WheelGoodTime often wondered if there was a heavier wheel that would act a little more like a runflat in either instance? 🤔
Cool thanks@@WheelGoodTime
Just hype. After riding for several years, I’ve learned never to get excited for new wheels until someone brings it to our group ride
Exact same issue with two of my begode wheels concerning TUBE STEM BREAKING OFF CAUSING ME TO WRECK LAME!
I guess that's 8 people that I know of (10 cases).. Not a good thing when people are coming out of the woodwork to report their own identical tube valve stem-related crash 😭
There is time for Inmotion to catch up.
@@skipsmoto their 200v+ upcoming wheel will be most excellent 👍
@@WheelGoodTimeInmotion’s dropping a 210volt wheel, WHEN?
@@Stan0619 I don't know their wheel's voltage exactly - unsure if it's 210v. I also have no info on that wheel other than... It's coming 😀
They are trying to make v18 up to speed but it's simply waay too late now. It's been delayed since August and the train is long gone by now, nobody needs a yet another lynx-clone. I suspect they will drop this part of the market altogether focusing on a smaller "civilian" models and e-scooters.
@ you may be correct, but there’s nothing like a high-performance product to stimulate interest in the brand
130 mm suspension , nice
Even if two wheels are identical spec wise, I’d still take the Leaperkim over a begode anyday. They are not comparable build wise.
Is it waterproof?
Yep, IP67 rated!
What I dont like is Begood bringing out any few months a new wheel out, what happens if i got a crash after 2 years I will not getting any spare parts anymore -.-
You probably will be able to get the parts still since Begode gets all the parts from existing wheels and slaps them on another with a new motherboard and dub it a new wheel.
x way with c32 will be insane, we'll see in 2025
I bet that could be done pretty easily if Begode created a firmware compatible with the C32 on a 168v system 🤷
@@WheelGoodTime honestly the suspension would still need a major upgrade to burry LK
Also, if LP can’t legally provide pads, dont shit on them for it.
@@skampster they should provide the pads supplied by Beidou with every wheel they sell ...and Velcro. Other EUC manufacturers do it, so LK should too 🙂
@@WheelGoodTime but I’ll still buy Grizzlas anyway. I’ve got a drawer of beidou pads not being used.
@@WheelGoodTime you and I both know pads are not deal breakers when buying wheels.
@@skampster I agree it's not a deal breaker, but it is nice and refreshing that BG is including good and adjustable pads. I always thought the Beidou pads were just "ok" and preferred Grizzlas, but they really grew on me over time. Go figure 🤷
My Sherman L came with an off-road tubeless tire ❤️
@@-renoboarder-4820 this is the way!
lol this year has not ended yet and it and it has yet and it isnt even really the best spec wise so this just simply a false claim hate how clickbate the internet has gotten your not suppose to manipulate to get attention you should get attention for saying the truth specs matter
@@VictorBreazzeal I don't know, my crystal ball works pretty well to predict the future 🔮 the upcoming stuff from BG is pretty exciting, but this will likely be the most sought after "all around" wheel of the year. I look forward to seeing what inmotion comes out with though with the v18 and P6. Should be an exciting year 😁
First euc to hit 75mph reliably?
Kevin at Alien Rides got beeps on the wheel at 48 mph while in off-road mode. I think you can expect beeps on race mode at around 55 mph or so, if field weakening is not used. The ET Max uses a different motor that can potentially go a tiny bit faster than the x-way
Honestly the x-way is actually pretty darn interesting. But torque wise pretty sure its not gonna be great having sold the et max.
Why not APEX-01 will be the wheel of 2025? At least a competitor in this category.
We shall see! 😀
But do they still catch fire?
No anymore. I'm sure it can still happen here and there (they are li-ion batteries, after all, so anything is possible), but EUCs haven't had fire problems for years now
@@WheelGoodTime awesome!
Don’t abuse your batteries with neglect and you can charge your batteries next to the baby crib without worry… and no, you shouldn’t do that anyway but it’s far safer than strapping your baby into a Tesla and being blissfully unaware. 😊
92lbs is not light at all the v14 is 92lbs and that bad boii is heavy.
My original ExBull commander with 3600wh is like 85lbs lol
Smart BMS? ... guess we can take that for granted on all new wheels?
Yeah it's kind of funny that I didn't even mention that 😂 Anna neglected to mention the IP67 waterproofing, which is also a huge deal to me
Damn, should I cancel my EB Griffin preorder? 🤔
@@animatedlim I wouldn't unless you need that IP67 waterproofing on the X Way. There will always be something newer/faster/"better", just like a computer. If you cancel preorders for the next best thing that was just announced, you may never get a wheel 😀 the Griffin still looks great
@@WheelGoodTime So true. I’ve been waiting for the Griffin, can’t wait anymore for another new wheel to come out.
Batch 1 = guinea pigs
I got burned with batch 1 KS S22
Yeah KS definitely burned a lot of people with that wheel. 😭 BG has many faults as a company, but they haven't really burned anyone with a batch one wheel in a long time
@@WheelGoodTime Since I am not in CA with nice weather all year round. Batch 3 or later will make more sense.
Batch one Lynx. Coming up on 3000 miles without a single hiccup
@@boblatkey7160 I got 1200 miles with batch 3 Lynx. No problem so far. I guess Veteran QC is much better.

@@erCostinha the freedom to customize it the way each user wants would be pretty great 🙂
@@WheelGoodTime the pilot i gave my etmax: I dont like the pedals, they move forward aaaaa ..... resulting in the pilot riding with his lynx that have even more pronounced tiltback......

Oh great. There was another commenter that said the same thing. 9 people now, 11 cases 😭 it happened to some people twice
Begode and Best in the same sentence is sacrilige
😂 come on, you have to admit that this wheel is pretty impressive! And I'm a LK fanboy myself
Looks liké you are more begode fan 😂@@WheelGoodTime
@apokalypso2163 I think this will definitely absorb most of the demand for its direct competitors for the upcoming year. And I also would love to get my hands on this wheel and thoroughly review it. But if someone asked me if I would replace my lynx with an x way for free... I might be tempted. No promises, but tempting.
Says someone who probably hasn't ridden a new begode lol

Leaperkim suspension on a different level than Begode
I will put my money on the X-way...if I have problems I will come after yoy..😅
🔪🔪🩸🩸😪😪
If it is the best wheel, by the time it actually comes out it will already be superseded by another begode wheel and so on and so on😂
Begode doesn't make the best wheels. Not now not never. . . But keep fanboying.
Funny you say that... I'm a LK fanboy 🙂 but this may be the wheel that finally dethrones the Lynx as the most sought-after trail EUC.
Funny, but veteran much better, honey
Valve stem ripped out almost killed me. Bad batch of compromised tube's. Smh. Tubeless all the way.
My average tube blow out distance is 500km. Heavey duty tube made no difference. Hi or low Air pressure no difference. Now I'm on tubless with mousse with cooling lube gell and air. Goes flat no problemo keep going. escooters who offer solid rubber no flats tyres off the rack just sayin.
@@WillofNewZealand that's awful to hear about all your tube blowouts! What wheels have you had this happen on?
@@WheelGoodTime monster v3 which is a day long nightmare to disassemble, I've learned to put a mousse in without taking wheel apart. I've blown 5 tubes I think. Valves snap off. Ran mousse for 360km with no air but I'm now running it with air to make mousse last longer.
@@WheelGoodTime the thing that's annoying is air. Sealing bead out in the wild with hand pump is a joke with the punch line once you've used every ounce of energy you got then you have to walk hours. Hence the mousse and gell so at least I can ride to garage to burst shot of air that bead.
@@WheelGoodTime I've a master pro also.

@@WheelGoodTime yes as stated more people than you think
I'm not minimizing your contribution, I'm sure there are many people who deserve credit for making this happen. Hopefully BG compensates you for your time and efforts as well
@@WheelGoodTime not about that tbh dude. Just feel like people are trying to make out they were the set builders on this wheel when it had multiple peoples input and efforts. And most of the build was actully from begode checking out the off-road riders i.e Roger Matt burt Brian doughmashall and taking input of what the community wanted as a off-road wheel.

Leaperkim = quality building... Begode = poo
@@bernardobuffa2391 maybe in past years, yes. But I think we can agree that this wheel has a high level of fit and finish
@@WheelGoodTime time will have the answer to this... by the moment is just a promise... let's count how many people suffer this wheel issues (if any) how many fires... and also btw, Leaperkim is still providing parts and support for any model they released.... I wish I could like LK. Every wheel Ive been on has had the worse pedal dip on corners and I nope out. Every time the pedals feel mushy and the handling delayed. I want firmly flat pedals and instant responce. Even on hard mode a LP feels like crap and I'm afraid I'll clip my pedals on a sharp turn. And begode sucks?
I still believe the blitz is better fir the larger wheel and the extreme for pure off road trail riding. Begode is going to charge what 4500 for this and its still heavier than normal.......blitz imho is still the best for off roading.
