The two male lions feeding on the kill would have killed him. Lions are very territorial...and two against one...he would have lost. At one point I really thought there was a chance the hyenas could kill him.

@Maximus Autizmus I study and work with lions and I've seen hundreds of kills..I seen 1 male lion kill a buffalo lots of times....I've also seen male lions being killed by a buffalo and hyenas have killed a male lion! ! The eating a buffalo alive may have been because the buffalo was stuck in a mud bath but never have I seen a male lion eat a healthy buffalo alive !! Lol

It's like asking them to attack a tree just to get some monkeys on the top, would a lion ever do that?? nope. Also, lions have a natural fear of humans, so even if they do notice them, they'd rather just avoid and not cause any conflict. Lastly, overtime, lions have gotten used to the jeep and they're more comfortable around it and see it as jus a random being that isn't a threat or a meal. It is something that they haven't developed a strategy to hunt and it's something completely random, so they ignore.

These Lionesses are beautiful. They have such a powerful physique. I’d never heard cubs grunt and didn’t realize they even did at such a young age until seeing this video and… it’s adorable.

He was from a different pride and was probably out of his territory. He was attracted by the commotion and vocalizing of the hyenas.
The two male lions feeding on the kill would have killed him. Lions are very territorial...and two against one...he would have lost.
At one point I really thought there was a chance the hyenas could kill him.

The eating a buffalo alive may have been because the buffalo was stuck in a mud bath but never have I seen a male lion eat a healthy buffalo alive !! Lol

@@kingzion6386 The jeep can make loud aggressive noises which intimidate the lions and not to mention the lions know that the jeep is made up of something that isn't edible. It's like asking them to attack a tree just to get some monkeys on the top, would a lion ever do that?? nope. Also, lions have a natural fear of humans, so even if they do notice them, they'd rather just avoid and not cause any conflict. Lastly, overtime, lions have gotten used to the jeep and they're more comfortable around it and see it as jus a random being that isn't a threat or a meal. It is something that they haven't developed a strategy to hunt and it's something completely random, so they ignore.
